On tap at the Draught House 42nd Anniversary Party. The beer pours a nice brown color with a tan head. The aroma is basic porter with a lot of roasted malt and chocolate notes. The flavor is more of the same, with the chocolate dominating the flavor. The roasted malt is also present and there is a little bit of earthy hop bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A very nice porter. (396 characters)

Pours black with a light tan head. Nice rich and opaque. Smell is divine. Aromas of vanilla, coffee, cream, chocolate, cookies, and whoppers. Taste is similar rich flavors, good roastiness and a touch of bitterness. I hope they keep this guy around, as it was quite well recieved by my girlfriend and I both. Just a bit thin bodied, unfortunately. (347 characters)

This beer is awesome. It lives up to its namesake perfectly - it tastes like a "Whopper", that malted milk ball candy. Good job Josh, this beer is good stuff.

Had a pint poured from the tap.

Appearance - Dark translucent brownish black in color. You can only perceive any light when the beer is held up directly to it. It produced a 1 1/2 finger off white head. The head texture was that of sea foam. It had a ton of lacing and it became more pronounced the further along I drank.

Smell - It smells just like a "Whopper". The malt notes were that of milk chocolate, and powdered cocoa. There were also notes of vanilla and wood, perhaps oak?

Taste - I'll be damned if this doesn't taste just like a "Whopper". I definitely get a roasty flavor, most likely from the malt. The malt also takes on a biscuity and chocolate flavor - both milk chocolate and powdered bittersweet cocoa. There is a prominent vanilla flavor as well. The hops are in the distant background of the flavor, and primarily tied with the powdered cocoa flavor - giving it the bitter notes.

Mouthfeel - It is on the lighter side of medium bodied. Good carbonation level. It was very mouth-coating. Very nice.

Drinkability - This beer is awesome. It goes down extremely smooth. On top of that, it takes me back to when I was 12 years old sharing a carton of "Whoppers" with my dad... only the Whopper is liquid and has a hop profile. Yummy. (1,425 characters)
