8oz pour at (where else?) the Draught House.
This little "home brewery" knows how to use some hops...4lb. of Centennial, Simcoe, Amarillo, and Chinook(?) went into this ~11%ABV IIPA. Pours like the style, with a reddish-copper hue topped by a receding cap of khaki foam. Typical hopped-up aroma, with lots of piny goodness backed by citrus notes and a hint of alcohol and caramel malts.
Flavor mirrors the aroma well, with a blast of resiny, hoppy goodness that gives way to a boozy warmth and a drying, semi-sweet amber malt finish. Palate is a bit spritzy for the thick body, which counteracts the inherent malty smoothness. Still, this is a very tasty IIPA and I had no problem getting through the half pint. Would definitely order again...

Had this on tap at the Draught House. Pours a gorgeous reddish amber with a light beige head. Smell is big fruity, gummy hops with house flavor and scent. Taste is fruity, hoppy and fairly bitter but with a good maltiness behind it. Good flavor and body. Nice beer.
