this is my favorite place to go in Austin for two reasons. number one is the Century Stout, which is, hands down one of the best beers i've ever experienced. the second reason is the tailgating. nothing beats chilling in the back of the truck with some music drinking beer.
the bartender was great, he noticed my BA hoodie and suggested the Red Planet on cask (which was great by the way!). my friend usually gets the Marley's Gnarly Barleywine, which we both think is awesome. aside from the awesome house beers, lots of other of my favorites are usually on tap, like Old Rasputin, (512) Pecan Porter, Live Oak Hefeweizen, Stone IPA, Old Chub.
selection was great. prices were very reasonable. beers were 2.75 the last time i went.
i haven't had a bad experience here, aside from a couple of beer snobs talking shit about my beer choice in the parking lot. i try to make it out there once a week for the house brews.
