Since I live in Connecticut it's nice to see a close-to-the-border place think outside the box and add a few beers we can't obtain in the Nutmeg state. St. Bernardus makes an appearance here regularly along with Lefthand, Firestone Walker, Clown Shoes, Bear Republic, Sixpoint, White Birch and the occasional Green Flash. ... Some of the beers are too pricey - Bear Republic for instance - but staff is friendly and it's right down the road from the Malted Barley. The beer guy is a good guy and is willing to try and hunt down good beers.

Finally! A place in New England that I don’t have to complain about parking! Hell yeah! Every time I’ve been here (only twice, actually), pretty much always had good service. Pretty clean, probably one of your best bets while in Westerly, RI for bottles/cans.

Stopped here just for the hell of it really. I ended up grabbing a couple bottles and cans off of the shelf here just because they had some things I've never seen back at home. The service was good, the vibe was pretty typical of any beer/liquor store.

Wide selection of beer, wine, and spirits.

Excellent pick-a-six selection, which included last year's BCBS, among others. Much better selection than I can get in neighboring CT.

Prices are a little higher than I would expect, all things considered, but within a reasonable range (up to $2 more for 6-packs and bombers that I can get locally).

Definitely a great place to check out, with a huge craft selection.

Dick's is a great beer store with an always expanding selection, great brands like
six point, founders, green flash, bear republic, firestone walker just to name a few. They also have some hard to get brews as well. They dont over chrage for any of there brews as i've seen some other places "price gauging" which as we all know is really annoying! Ask for Ryan he knows his stuff and is very helpful, as is the rest of the staff! This is my "Go To" store in RI especially when i cant get certain brews in my own store in CT. If your in RI or in bordering CT its def worth stopping in.

Dick's was one of the first beer stores I went to in Rhode Island, and definitely the first one I call when seeking a particular beer. Located very close to downtown Westerly and Pawcatuck, CT, Dick's has a pretty wide selection of wine, hard liquor and beer.

They were the first place to have Resin when it was released. I've talked with the beer guy, and he noted that he likes to keep the beers on his shelves fresh, and this is reflected in the seasonal selection at Dicks. Many of the beers rotate regularly, and there's usually something there that catches my eye, so I usually leave with 1-2 bottles or a six pack, even if what I was seeking is not available.

To illustrate price point, Resin was $9.99 at Dicks. At the Mega-Super-Yankee-Spirits in Attleboro, Mass, it was $8.99. I'm always willing to support the local, family run business and pay a little more for that privilege.

The staff has been very friendly every time I call or come in, and they always ask if they can help and/or if I found everything I was looking for. This is a great opportunity to exchange information with the staff, and I appreciate the extra effort.
