Darkish malty taste fairly typical of the Tampa Bay Brewing Beers (from my experience) and I enjoyed this beer the most from all I tried there, as it was thirst quenching, not too heavy and easy to drink. Would certainly have it again when there as first choice of the session !

Enjoyed on-tap at the brewpub. A mild, decent Cascade bitterness, only. Cloudy yellow, a little white head and lots of lace. Suitable carbonation. A bit mediocre for the style, but one could get by if this was the only beer available in town. Neutral aroma, mouthfeel.

Pale clear tan color, not much of an off white head. Bitter hop smell. Taste was stong, bitter, overly hopped. Not much to balance it. Tasted alot like their Mad Hopper Pale Ale. Thin resiny feel, slippery finish. Not much more than big hop bitterness. A bit of a letdown, after the name. I don't get it.

Crystal clear, pale yellow with a creamy topper two fingers high that fades slow and leaves nice lacing.
The aroma is clean with citrus hints on a lightly breaded backbone.
The flavor is clean with nice toasty notes, nutty hints, and citrus balance of lemon and orange zest.
Clean, crisp, and refreshing!
Overall, a very easy drinking, refreshing beer.

First had: on tap at the brewpub in Tampa
Two APAs here, and neither really worth talking about. Clear yellowish amber pour on this one, with a white head that retained rather well and left a bit of lacing on the glass. Light citrus hops in the nose, bready malt base. Taste was on the weak side, slightly more dominant citrusy hops, and bready malt sweetness. Light-medium body, watery, fairly clean and dry in the finish. Meh.

The brewery describes this beer as an American Pale Ale brewed with 2-row American grains and a small amount of light crystal malt for a slight malty flavor; hopped with Cascade. I tried it on cask, though they also had it on tap. I believe the cask version is dry-hopped with more Cascade.
Aroma: a grassy, hop aroma up front (indicative of dry-hopping), a bit of maltiness underneath, some cheesy-hop aroma in there too (perhaps the dry-hops were a little old on this batch).
Apearance: light copper, good clarity despite being casked, creamy white head, a fair amount of lacing from the cohesive head
Flavor: a well-balanced sweetness/bitterness and a long, bitter finish. The hop bittereness are pretty assertive up front. Some appley fruitiness and a citrusy, Cascade finish.
Mouthfeel: medium-bodied, creamy texture, low carbonation
Despite the flaws in this sample (cheesy-hop aroma and dirty line), it is an enjoyable beer. It wouldn't surprise me if this was one of their best sellers.
*At the time of this tasting, I detected an off-flavor indictative of a dirty beer line.

Poured on-tap at the Tampa Bay Brewing Co brewery in Ybor City. The beer was served in a pint glass, and is a crystal clear, amber tinted yellow gold coloring with a thin, filmy head. Mild hops aromas, like light grass clippings. Flavors are light, but distinctly semisweet malt, a slight smokiness, and peppery/spicy hops. The aftertaste is bitter and smokey, and the finish is bitter dry. Tasty beer!

Had this beer at the Brew pub in Ybor City Fl. Served in a chilled pint glass which probably affected the head. Small white head, fades fairly fast with some lacing. Nice clear, light amber color.
Aroma of citrus hops. Fairly prominent for an APA.
Flavor is citrus hops with some balancing bready malt. Solid enough flavor for an APA.
Mouthfeel is crisp and rich enough.
Nothing exceptional, just a solid, tasty beer.

5.2% a.b.v. is your session beer? Hell, the folks at Tampa Bay Brewing must really support getting your buzz on before Lightning games.
This pour was just OK, with no off notes in nose or taste. I had been warned that Florida water could interfere with brewing great beer, but did not necessarily find that to be the case. Judiciously hopped pale ale in an American style, meaning the malt is just a touch... overlooked while the slant seems to be the bittering. The mouthfeel was commendably full and round. While wishing for more complexity (which I found in this brewery's "Wedding Celebration,") I found this selection drinkable.

Served on draft, this pale ale arrived with little head, and a faint aroma. Pale in color, with an almost light beer color character. Tastes of mild hops and light malt. The head wasn't helped with a low carbonation, and therefore a lesser than ideal mouthfeel. This beer had good flavor, and might make a good session beer. It seemed to me, for a draft beer, this should have had more aroma, head and flavor.

Appearance: Nice pale amber color with an off-white head that leaves a nice, though small, lace.
Smell: Light hoppy aroma.
Taste: well-balanced sweet and bitter, with a grapefruit/citrus taste.
Mouth-feel: medium body with crisp, clean feel.
Drinkability: Very enjoyable. My second favorite at TBB behind the Red Eye.

The One Night Stand is surely my favorite beer at the Tampa Bay Brewing Company and I am a regular. I highly suggest ordering it on tap rather than the cask version. Tampa Bay Brewing Company is known for having highly hopped brews and this one is very balanced.
