A lovely, drinkable IPA, rather fruity, but with enough bitterness to avoid being cloying. The taste changes as you drink your glass -- you initially notice the fruitiness, but it thereafter ranges to bitter and then finally a sort of lovely slight sourness. The taste is always interesting and full though.

On tap at Popeye's in Tokyo. Hazy orange body with a large off-white head that laced well. A most excellent looking IPA. Very floral aroma with some nice fresh summer fruit mixed in. Again, lots of floral flavour with some decent fruity esters, and a good balance between bitter and sweet. Medium body and carbonation. An extremely solid IPA, and yet more proof that the more adventurous brewers in Japan can carry the style off with aplomb.

Sampled on tap at Popeye in Tokyo, Japan.

This IPA poured a very cloudy, orange-amber color with creamy, off-white foam that settled, but left lace on the glass. The smell was a rich, fruity, floral hops aroma! Very nice. The taste was dominated by a strong, floral hops flavor, plus some hop bitterness, together with a nice balance of mildly sweet malt. The mouthfeel was hoppy! It was dry and crisp with medium body and medium carbonation feel. There was a nice lingering hop flavor. This was a very enjoyable IPA and was quite drinkable.
