Ooh a new style!
A: Poured straight down the middle into a weizen glass. Straw yellow body with a hint of orange. Initial pour is about four-fifths head, and it's about the coolest head I've ever seen. Thick, frothy, and rather reminiscent of milk, the bubbles race downwards for several minutes afterwards as the head recedes. Eventually settles at about a finger-width, not leaving much lacing.
S: Oranges and lemons mainly. This is probably just the appearance influencing me, but I swear I smell a little lactose, with a little salt in the background.
T: Starts off with a light lemon sourness that recedes but lurks in the background throughout the sip. In the middle I get the orange and coriander, followed closely by some enjoyable saltiness which lasts through the end of the sip. Not much of an aftertaste.
D: Well-carbonated, but not too heavily, resulting in a nice soft, round mouthfeel.
D: A little expensive to drink too many in one sitting, but it wouldn't be a chore in the slightest.
A refreshing, very balanced brew. The saltiness added another level to this beer, not only in terms of complexity, but in drinkability as well. Cool.

$ 3.49/11.2oz bottle at Heinen’s in Breckville, OH
Undated bottle at 40 degrees into Sam Adams lager glass
Aroma very faint lemon
Head small (2 cm), white, fizzy, rapidly diminishing to 2mm ring
Body medium yellow, cloudy, some lumps
Flavor definitely salty, hint of lemon; no hops, no malt, no alcohol, no diacetyl
Palate light to medium, watery, lively carbonation
A very good example of the style – the murky appearance and lumps are somewhat off-putting, but the salty refreshingness is well worth it. Close your eyes.
