Appearance - Hazy yellow colour with a large size fizzy white coloured head. It's hard to make out the amount of carbonation showing and there is not much lacing. The head lasted for 3-4 minutes.
Smell - Breads/grains, lemons, yeast/brett
Taste & Mouth - There is an above average amount of carbonation and I can taste bread/grains mixed with some tart lemon/citric notes. It ends with a tart lemony/citric brett aftertaste
Overall - Lots of mouth puckering sour flavour going on. But it still remains quite drinkable and refreshing even. It's a little one dimensional taste wise, but still a solid beer.

Serving glass: Poured from bottle into Tulip.
Appearance: Noisy, active, pale, cloudy yellow with huge white head at first, which dies down.
Smell: Very tart and dry, with farmhouse Brett-funk, lemony citrus and pepper.
Taste: Very, very tart, with a strong emphasis on lemon. Some light mustiness and white pepper, but mostly like sucking on a lemon. I mean that in an endearing way.
Feel: Very light bodied and highly carbonated. Extremely tart and dry finish.
Overall: I am not sure I have mentioned that this is tart. Oh, and this is 3% abv - impressive.

Comes out a cloudy yellow, thin white head, no more than 1/4" in depth. Not much in the way of lacing or retention. Aroma was lovely, one of, it not the most tart berlinner weisse I've ever come across. Lots of lemon.
Taste, wow, almost downright sour, definitely tart, yet so light on its feet. Drank this at Sour Sunday at Triple Rock in February, can't help but wonder what this would be like in Northern Nevada on a hot summer 104 degree day around the pool. If you like lemon, green apple, brett, tartness, light bodied yet plenty bready beers, this is where its at.
I would pay a shitton to buy 4 or 6 packs of this. It would rival SNPA as my go to beer in the summer. I think I like it more than even Hottenroth (gasp!).

Pours a hazy lemon-yellow color with a half-finger white head. The head recedes into a thin layer on top leaving light lacing.
Smells of funky brett - not the nice wet hay/funk that is crisp and usually welcomed, but rather a combination of that with dried corn and "baby boot". It wasn't as atrocious as the last descriptor implies but it wasn't as welcoming as I'd hoped.
Tastes better than it smells, closer to a berlinerweiss than anything with brett. Light malt with hints of wheat kick things off and are joined quickly by tart citrus. Midway through the sip the brett comes into play, clean funk with parts of wet hay. The brett fades out into a crisp ending.
Mouthfeel is good. It's got a nice thickness with active carbonation.
Drinkability is OK. I didn't have a problem finishing my glass however I'm not sure about another.
Overall I was hoping for more from this beer after enjoying the non-brett version however the brett didn't meld as much as I'd hoped. An interesting beer but one I wouldn't seek out again.

On tap at Blue Monk. A good tartness, akin to an unsweetened lemonade, with a little brett and I believe malt to make it drinkable. Very good drinkability, suitable carbonation. Yellow body with a small white head. A good representation of what is often a yummy style.

pours a light slightly hazy straw yellow with a hint of gold. quick inch or two of head that quickly dissipates leaving no retention.
intense lemon and crab apple. very sour and tart on the nose.
very light and easy with a lemon and sour apple puckering. light sour malt and hint of yeast. shockingly sour. slightly refreshing.
light, moderate carbonation, lip puckering.
this is a really good berliner, one of the better i have ever had. at 3%, more please

Poured from 11.2oz bottle into tall pilsner glass.
No bottled-on date.
Aroma: Wow--smells like I shoved my nose into a yeast starter. Bready yeast, which I don't mind. It quickly, however, switched to sulphury hard-boiled egg. Some sweet hay in there, followed by a brett character on the back end.
Appearance: 3/4 of the glass is white foam. This one foamed-up like a warm 2 liter bottle of sprite poured over ice. Active bubbles rise from the bottom of the glass. The body of the beer is a slightly hazy, almost irridescent, pale yellow. Foam eventually settles to a miringue-like rocky head.
Flavor: I felt as if I was going in for a bite of washed rind cheese for the first time... Curious to taste it, despite the repugnant flavor. An unmistakable Berliner-Weisse tartness, some earthy brett, followed by white grape skin. One hell of a refreshing beer!
Mouthfeel: One of the lightest bodies of any brew I've tried. Crisp CO2 scours the tongue. Puckering, mouthwatering tartness.
Overall: The beer let out a loud hiss when I popped the cap-- as if it were going to gush all over the place. No problems, though. Maybe I've just not acquired a nose for this one yet, but the aroma is the second favorite quality I enjoy in any beer (after taste, of course!). While this beer ROCKED in every other category, I just couldn't get into the smell of it. Aside from smell, this one has everything I could ask for in a Berliner Weisse.

Review ##1400! Based on my review of a bottle I had awhile back I have always been wanting a large growler of this… Well, GBX delivered on this in the form of a one gallon growler. OH SNAP! Served from growler into a Green Man snifter. Poured golden yellow with a one finger pure white head that subsided to a minimal amount slowly. Maintained decent lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, lemon peel, earth, tart, funk, and subtle bleu cheese. The flavor was of sweet malt, lemon zest, lemon rine, tart, sour, earth, and funk. It had a light feel on the palate with high carbonation. Overall this is a great brew. I’m really glad it was raining all day so I could sit down and consume this entire growler in one day. At 3% ABV, this one definitely packs a punch on flavor and aroma. This Berliner definitely brings the goods for the style. If you have not had this brew before you need to fix that as soon as possible. I suggest trying it on tap as it was actually a lot more intense on the flavor aspect than the bottle. Just plain good.
Note: DO NOT drink an entire growler of this beer in a one-day session. You will regret it based on the pH imbalance in your stomach. You have been warned!

$5 for 11.2 fl oz. Poured into a pint glass.
a- pours a hazey pale straw color, with about 2 inches of head that crackles and quickly settles out to a very very thin ring around the glass. no lacing
s- zesty lemon/lime, a little sweet, faint yeast.
t- very tart. mouth puckering. incredible. green apples and lemon all the way. slight barnyard and some yeasty hints. i was not expecting this.
m- high carbonation, fizzy and crisp, ends on a tart, dry note. light bodied.
o- i did not know what to expect going into this beer. i did not think that so much flavor and tartness could be packed in such a low abv beer. simply wonderful.

Picked up at Healthy Spirits during my trip to San Francisco early February 2012.
Appearance – Pours into my Cantillon Tulip glass with a slightly hazy straw color and massive amounts of off white head that dissipates quickly leaving zero lacing.
Smell – Heavy lemon zest, sour green apple, slight funk, grass clippings, hay.
Taste – A wonderful mouth puckering lemon tartness up front followed by the wonderful granny smith apple flavors. Slight wheat flavors, grass, and straw. A nice earthiness and barnyard funk also. Hot damn there is a lot of flavor in this low ABV beer.
Mouthfeel – Medium to lighter bodied, spritzy carbonation, finishes extremely dry.
Overall – A fantastic Berliner Weis. I am ISO more of this for sure.
