Served in a goblet at Northdown, quick review from notes.
Thanks to Alex for the tip, otherwise I probably would've passed it off as a novelty.
Murky pale yellow, some traces of rising bubbles in the liquid, but no head, foam or lacing to speak of. Looks a little like juice.
Sharp aroma, slightly lemony.
Taste is very sour, puckering and sharp with a high dose of lactobacillus. Lemony tang, with a light hint of wheat in the aftertaste. Took a minute to get acclimated, but it was very crisp and dry, refreshing on an 80º summer evening. Spritzy feel, not much in the taste to indicate potatoes were involved in the brewing process, guessing they were used just for additional starch for the bacteria to work on.
Overall a very sour Berliner that is refreshing and lemony, possibly the most sour i've tried.

I've had this on-tap a few times in Chicago. This review is from the Northdown Berliner event. Served in a tulip.
A - Minimal white foam settles to pretty much nothing. Murky peach-flesh body. Not much of a looker here.
S - Tart lemon, lactic acidity, perhaps a faint hint of starch that is evocative of potato but that could be psychosomatic. Pretty potent considering the low ABV.
T - The taste is intensely sour, with loads of lactic acidity, puckering lemon, and light notes of wheat and tangy yeast in the background. Don't think I would have noticed the potato if it weren't in the name.
M - Super dry, with a sufficiently hefty medium-light body for the listed ABV. Carbonation is a bit lower than I'd prefer. Intensely acidic.
D - This is pretty delicious. If it weren't so sour (and kind of expensive) I'd drink it regularly. Guessing the potato is mostly to give the souring bacteria something to chew on?
