The silky white head is substantial, and only recedes to about a half inch, which is constantly replenished by highly active carbonation rushing up from below. Swirling the last of the yeast sediment before pouring into the mix leaves some brown traces in the otherwise pristine white head, which leaves numerous trailers along the sides of the glass. The brew is a murky honey-amber color with some clarity at the edges of the glass. Probably would be much more clear if the sediment was left in the bottle, but who wants to miss the extra flavor and vitamins?
Fruity aromas greet the nose, with a yeasty background. This is carried through in the taste, which has some light grapefruit notes and good grain characteristics that are hard to isolate due to the exuberant carbonation. Enough hops to brighten the flavor, but not too bitter or overpowering. Altogether a mellow mouthful.

Bottled beer served in a glass.
Golden honey colour and cloudy with suspended yeast. Head dissipates quickly to a thin film. Mild, but lasting effervescence.
A weak aroma overall, with predominantly yeast, baked bread and citrus characteristics, and hints of banana and sugar.
Lots of yeast and bread, with hints of lemon and lime. Finishes with a soda water aftertaste.
Prickly carbonation, with a viscous, frothy feel when swished. Foams up and lines the mouth when chewed.
An old reliable friend. This is on the cheap end of the scale locally, so it's my go-to everyday beer or if I want to supply a quality choice at parties without breaking the bank.
Easy to drink, with a pleasant flavour, albeit on the weak end of the flavour scale. The beer equivalent of a soda with lime; a tad on the bland side, but crisp and refreshing. Not the best Coopers brew, but it's usually cheap on tap and there is no better beer in its price range. Get a cheap jug of this next time you're at a bar in an Aussie uni; made for many good nights.
