Poured from a 650ml bottle. Pours a hazy orange-juice colour. Ample fluffy head. This year's version of Flying Tanker is much improved and better balanced and integrated than last year's. The nose is a really nice mix of clove, fruit, banana and spicy hop and yeast notes. SImilar taste with lots of big hefe notes showing up and a huge bitter finish. The carbonation is big and mouth cleansing. An easy beer to drink a lot of.

A: creamy hazy yellow; huge head!
S: lemon rind, fresh grapefruit, bread yeast, coriander,
T: I don't know what to make of it: noticeable bitterness amidst a muddle of fruity flavours. Little if any maltiness. Like biting into a bitter grapefruit rind; and the bitterness grows and grows. Not very pleasant.
M: light-bodied.
O: In some ways this beer is like a Saison or even a hefeweizen ... But then there's that hard edged bitterness. Even though I'm not a fan of this beer I'd buy version 2.0 just to see where they take it.

A: Pours a pale gold with 3 fingers of sudsy head which slowly dissipates into a thin film around the glass.

S: Scents of ripe bananas, Belgian yeast, sweet malts and herby spices.

T: Initial tastes of fruity sweetness followed by yeasty and wheat flavours, similar to a saison, and finishes with a lasting bitter, acrid aftertaste.

M: Light mouthfeel with a very dry finish. Moderate level of carbonation.

O: The initial smell is sweet, yeasty and spicy like a saison, but the taste picks up the bitterness of an IPA without the accompanying floral and pine notes. The two contradictions clash more then compliment each other here. Worth trying, but I don't think I would go for another.

A: Hazy yellow/straw, white head, great retention & lace.

S: Lots of vanilla, grapefruit, lemon, light mineral.

T: Lots of vanilla and citrus, good spicing, wheaty biscuit, solid bitterness.

M: Well-attenuated, moderate body has a crisp finish.

O: A good drinker. Not overly Belgian, more bitter orange rind than spicing, which is fine with me.

650ml bomber poured into tulip 8/9/12

A milky pale orange with a bone white head as big as you want it, a slow pour still pumps out three fingers of soapy foam, great retention and some spider web lace

S this one confused me a little, banana and bubblegum followed by peppery spice, Belgian yeast, grapefruit rind, and a earthy hop blast. A Hefe/Wit (not to be confused with a developmentally delayed individual) crossed with a Saison and I'm loving it

T more grains and much more spice, I like the flavor but I loved the smell, more rind somehow and no banana and bubblegum

M a little foamy and gritty, medium bodied but the carbonation instantly turns it airy, no booze burn whatsoever, in fact I get no booze anywhere drinking this beer

O I thought this was a pretty solid brew, interesting beer and yet again I'm well above the average

a nice hybrid beer I never really placed, Saison, Belgian IPA, hopped up Wit, who knows? I liked it a fair bit that's about all I know

A: 1" white head over cloudy golden yellow liquid.

S: Yeast, bananans, cloves and wheat.

T: Yeast and strong grassy and earthy hops.

M: Dry mouthfeel along with medium viscosity and carbonation.

O: Average drinkability, but I found the somewhat strong earthy Belgian hops that were added to this White IPA to be quite overpowering.
