This festival ale is brewed in celebration of the amazing art, music and culture here on Vancouver Island. We’re proud to support local cultural events like VIC FEST that strenghten our island’s unique collection of bouncing souls and kindred spirits. Brewed with a rhythmic blend of malts and lightly riffed hops this beer is a thirst quenching and sensory expanding experience. Turn it up and enjoy.

650ml bottle poured into a pint glass. Paid $4.99 + deposit at BC Liquor Store (the one at 8th and Cambie).
A: clear gold, obvious carbonation, lots of head, lacing on the glass as it dissipates.
S: floral hops, slight sourness.
T: very mild, some bitterness balanced with the sweetness of pale malts, perhaps a bit bland. Well balanced, but I might prefer something more aggressive.
F: crisp and refreshing, maybe a bit watery.
Definitely good but not stellar. Would I get it again? Probably not (but I prefer darker beers anyway). I can see ordering this on tap at a restaurant, bar, or festival, but I don't think I'd buy it by the bottle again. Still, it's pretty good.
