At the top of the bottle is a paper-wrap in gold color which boosts a gold medal from the Australian International Beer Awards of 1998. This is brewed with "quality malt, rice, and hop, with natural water, and selected yeast" according to one source, but on the label it only lists "contains malted barley" under ingredients. I guess I'll try to spread the fame of this Thai macro lager here on BA. On to the beer:
Clear, pale light-straw color, crowned by your typical macro head. The smell contains DMS (cooked veggies), a little skunk, and sulfur. Moving on the taste of this beer, it's actually a little heavier than what I was expecting. A little sulfur running through, but that's the worst of it. Cooked rice creates a little taste and a good crispness. Malts are lights, but add a bit of sweetness to the beer. Hops are floral-like.
A solid macro lager. Easy-drinking for the warm Thai climate as well as (I presume) spicy Thai cuisine. You don't need to go out of your way for this, but if you can get a single, "Thai" it (try it).

Yellow golden color with a thin fluffy head with very short retention.
Aroma of booze, cereals and oxidized lemon.
Flavor of sweet cereals, cooked vegetables, lots of diacetyl and booze, oxidation and a spicy sensation. Dry aftertaste with a light bitterness.
Light body with good carbonation.
This is much worse than its local competitor Singha and also behind our local mass adjunct lagers. Awkward flavor with lots of off-flavors with a low drinkability. To toss it, a sin I at any cost.
