Bright golden color with a thin fluffy head with medium retention.
Elegant aroma of biscuit malt and herbal hops. Hints of oranges. Better than expected.
Malt sweetness, with mild citrusy and herbal notes. Hints of apple, white wines and cream crackers. Some diacetyl, but it does not bother. Aftertaste with medium dryness.
Light body with appropriate carbonation.
Very smooth beer and easy to drink, but that shows its malty flavor. It is much better than mostly Adjunct Lagers from macros brewers, meaning it should please a broad range of beer drinkers looking for a mellow beer.

Pours from a very attractive bottle into a decidedly less attractive form. Sunflower-gold body, with a spongy, spotty head. As with Voll-Damm, another of the brewery's beers, toad's eye bubbles predominate.

Aroma is dullish, with newspaper pulp, citron, and pebbles.

Taste leads with a paste-like note, followed by more of the distinct paper/newspaper flavors first seen on the nose. Somewhat non-descript, but mercifully unoffensive.

Mouthfeel is appropriately full, like a sea of cottonballs. Could be a touch more stiff.

Overall, there's not a lot to say here. A remarkably non-descript tipple. I don't even think food would bring out any more notable qualities. Too many other good beers to drinkmin this world. Take a pass.
