330ml bottle. Footed Pilsner glass. Golden yellow color, crystal appearance. White, close, fairly well retention crown. Floral aromas, hints of biscuit malt & slightly sugary touch. Sweet & fruity flavor, notes of biscuit malt. Light body, lively carbonation. Smooth malty mouthfeel. Slightly bitterness in the middle lingers into the finish. Easy drinkability.

My father-in-law brought this back form a recent trip to spain. thanks Mike!

Pours crystal clear golden yellow with a small cap of fine white head. The head disappears quickly and leaves no lace.

Aroma isn't good. Corn, DMS, apple. bit of alcohol, more than I'd expect for 4.8%. hint of citrus. white bread and cracker. bit grassy and herbal.

Taste isn't much better. Bit of sweet caramel. Corn and DMS. Apple. Light alcohol. Cracker. A bit grassy. Medium-low bitterness level.

Mouthfeel is okay. Light body with medium-high carbonation is about average. Clingy unpleasant aftertaste.

Drinkability isn't great. It gets a little better once it's had some time to breath, but never approaches "good". pass.

Brown glass bottle with classic pressure cap served into Trappist Westvleteren goblet in Belfort, France. Reviewed live.

A: No head at all. Pathetic. Colour is a clear yellow.

Sm: Heavily malted barley and light cream. That's it. The aroma is moderately strong.

T: Malted barley with a light cream climax. It's pleasant and refreshing, but also simple and boring. It's certainly balanced; it's the build that's problematic.

Mf: Smooth and wet, but too thick. Partially complementary of the flavours in the body, but not tailored to them.

Dr: I've had many beers from this brewery, and this is not one of their best. It drinks easy and pairs well with food, but isn't a quality beer by any means. Try it but don't expect much, even if you're a hardcore fan of the style.

Another great looking bottle brought back from barcelona by my girlfriend.

A- Dark straw with a cheap looking white foam on top.

S- From the bottle, I can already smell some nasty corny aromas. Poured into a pilsner-like ordinary water glass. Smells a bit fruity and a little milky. Watery berry shake? Corn alcohol in the back.

T-Extremely smooth flavor ending in a rougher grain bitterness. Almost a popcorn quality to it. Hint Of Caramel With An acidic finish. Not much aftertaste apart from some of the bready bitterness.

M- Very smooth with medium to low carbonation. Not very dry.

O- I think many macro drinkers would love this since the flavor is so smooth. You'd certainly feel fancy with the nice bottle and all.

Amber coloured body with a shallow but dense head and sweet bread-like nose.

First impression could be a mild Lager from Munich, creamy and mild.

Aftertaste lacks precision: The hops remains in the background and cannot compete with the malty sweetness resulting in an rather heavy overall impression.

Pours a clear, light gold with a white, filmy head. Aroma is marzipan and bruised apple, which is obviously strange for a lager. Then it became more clear that the odd, ale-like notes could be explained away by diacetyl and acetaldehyde. Definitely some brewing flaws going on here. Flavor is grainy and watery with a lightly fruity character. Maybe a too-warm fermentation is to blame? Not horribly unpleasant, but not clean.

This beer became one of my favorites during my trip in Catalunya.... however, my friends didn't share my opinion. Brewed according to the alsace method which in my opinion means that champagne yeast was used in this brew.

A: Very pale yellow color with a very tiny head that is not worth mentioning. Very tiny bubbles in this beer and that is not the last resemblance to champagne.

S: A very light grainy/hoppy smell. That's all.

T: Champagne like again. Very low in grains. Some nice fruity notes that are mainly pear, some citrus. A small hint of bitterness.

M: You've guessed it... high carbonation, like champagne. Thin body, pleasant dry finish.

D: As a beer this may be dissapointing and to thin, but I like it for it's unique style and don't want to compare it to my favorite quad style, which makes no sense. So, a particular beer that matched perfectly with the great weather in Catalunya.

330 ml bottle from Riga, Latvia.

Pours pale golden with good head that slowly dissappears, leaves thin patchy lacing. Aroma is sweetish malt, bits of vegetables, hints of toasted in the background, it becomes more stronger after a while, but, overall, it is not too pleasant.

Taste is malty, some bitterness with metallic notes, also a light touch of sourness that make slightly more refreshing, aftertaste is sweetish and a bit cloying. Mouthfeel is light with average carbonation.

Overall, an average beer, could be quite enjoyable in hot summer day, but I would not call it premium.

A - Very light and clear with no visible carbonation.
S - No real smell to speak of, some slight sweetness and bit of copper.
T - Some dry maltiness with a hint of sweetness in the aftertaste. Quite smooth and a little drying.
M - A bit overcarbonated and very lightly bodied.
D - Quite good. Refreshing beer.

330 ml bottle. Nice bottle with a minimum label. Strong golden colour, wich a rich head that dissapears in the blink of an eye. Smell of corns, with some sweetness on it. Light body, taste is sweet, corns and some banana hint and some metallic ones too. It feels carbonated in the mouth. Decent beer, but nothing too special.

Damm's high end beer. Bottle says ABV 4.8%. I wouldn't say it's euro strong lager, it's more of a middle ground between an american lager and the euro strong lager. neither of which are my favorite, but for the style..

Looks not that impressed, fizzy rough head dies very quickly, continues bubbling a lot a looks very fizzy. golden apricot and completely clear. little lace.

smells like an average lager, light malt and a little alcohol.

taste is pretty good- good balance between sweetness and dryness, touch of bitter, not exciting but well balanced i would say.

mouthfeel is nice, not too fizzy, leaves the mouth with a slight aftertaste but feeling very dry. very smooth.

First All-Malt Lager I’ve tasted in Spain and I am not disappointed.

Appearance: very nice and classy bottle. Bright clarity with a medium gold colour. The head was white, well formed but not very large. Moderate head retention, leaving a lot of lacing when it fades.
Aroma: very agreeable malty aroma with some fruit notes.
Taste: malty and slightly sweet flavour with a bitterness that becomes stronger after a while.
Mouthfeel: smooth, good carbonation, low alcoholic strength (4.8% ABV), light body.
Finish: fairly long finish, which starts sweet and quickly turns to a nice bitterness.

Overall: Interesting beer, a little balanced towards the malts but nevertheless very enjoyable. Looking forward to taste it again.

This is the third best beer I had while in Barcelona. It has a very classy looking label, sort of Michelob looking. Due to the label and being in a bottle, I had raised expectations. They were met.

This is a very solid helles style beer. Crisp, a little light on the hops. Not the best beer I ever had, but I had much worse while here.

Not a beer to say no to.

The special seasonal release from Damm was in reality a big enough disappointment. we looked for it near Picasso's house in the Gothic City of Barcelona, only to pay too much for an estrella spin-off, if only slightly more bitter at the end.

I felt like tasting an Aguila Imperial. no more words for this one.
