Drink by date on bottle was 08/16, and I had it on 17 May 2016.

I've had several gluten free (GF) or reduced-gluten beers, and this one is a welcome addition to the lineup. It is a classic Euro lager that avoids the fate of many GF beers in having its taste twisted beyond recognition by whatever process is applied to remove gluten. It is fairly lightly flavored, but is nicely balanced. Color light gold, head white. Ample, active white head, and good carbonation. Nose a bit mild but was an honest promise of the light lager malt and hops to come. Flavor was a straightforward pale lager profile, refreshing and very drinkable. I would enjoy these aside from the GF aspect. Both hops and malt could be more potent... but that can be said for a lot of pale lagers. And sometimes that light profile is what people want.

There's a little bit of sweetness to it but it's also bland at the same time, so it gets boring quickly. I'd drink it again but I wouldn't pay $8.99 for a 4-pack again.

Gluten-free beer.
Pours clear golden with thick off-white head, nice retention.
Smell - cereals, dusty, hay, typical for gluten-free beers.
Taste - grainy, poor in its gluten-free character.
Medium body, medium to soft carbonation.

Purchased during one of those 'oh, I haven't tried this' moments. I don't regret the decision, pleasant stuff, but all in all just another Euro pale lager that's clean, crisp, mildly malty/hoppy in a happy go lucky way just waiting for the party to start.

Good enough to drink but not repurchase at import prices.

330 mL bottle purchased as a single at the LCBO; best before Nov 2016 and served well-chilled.

Pours clear-golden yellow in hue, spawning roughly one finger of loose, soapy white head that is in a hurry to be somewhere else. A bubbly collar of thin foam remains, in addition to some very scant lace. Light sulfur/skunkage on the nose, along with notes of pale malt, cereal grain sweetness and grassy hay. Normally I'd say there's nothing to get excited about so far, but for a GF beer this smells remarkably... well, normal.

Well I'll be a monkey's uncle - it tastes like a regular Euro lager, too. Grainy pale malts and cereal grain sweetness make up the bulk of the flavour profile, with minor notes of apple skin and hay. Finishes rather dry, without much of an aftertaste. Not significantly better (or worse) than this brewery's standard 4.6% export lager. Light in body, with moderately prickly carbonation levels and a crisp, refreshing mouthfeel. Very easy to drink.

Final Grade: 3.18, a C+. If I had been handed a glass of Estrella Damm Daura and given no other information about it, I don't think I'd ever come to the conclusion that it was gluten free. In fact, I'd probably guess that it was a Polish lager, since it vaguely reminds me of stuff like Tyskie and Warka. Daura has none of the weird, gross vegetal off-flavours that you'll find in GF beers brewed with sorghum or other non-barley/wheat grains. That being said, I can't be too effusive - because taken purely as a pale lager, it's mediocre. But it's quite drinkable, and in the world of GF beer that is (sadly) more than enough to put it ahead of the pack. Highly recommend for celiacs.

A 330ml bottle from Lanzarote. Pours a light golden colour with medium carbonation and a small white head. Aromas of malt, citrus, bread & herbs. Tastes of citrus, sweet malt, herbs, bread & grain leading to a medium sweet malt bitter finish. Overall a fairly decent beer, and the best gluten free one I've tried.

Clear golden color with white head. Aroma has some nice grains but also the bright vegetal/fruity character you mostly get in low alcohol beers. Taste starts grainy, slightly sweet, you definitely get the adjunct grains feel. A bit of alcohol too. Finish is balanced, you get some hops and bitterness and the aftertaste is dry. Body feels medium and well carbonated. Overall it's quite clean, without any major faults. Taking into account it's gluten free, I think it would be a good option for some people but for the regular drinker it's not something special.

A pale lager brewed for the Mediterranean palate. More of a thirst quencher than a sipper, it’s a decent lager and better than any North American mass market lager. Refreshing...

Very pale on the pour, about like gasoline. Fine straw gold in the glass, with white, lower side of medium retention, foamy head. Very skunky smelling at first, but gives way to sweeter pale malt aroma. The mildest of lemon up front and throughout, grain in the middle, getting breadier, sweeter from the alcohol, and just barely bitter towards the finish. Higher side of light-bodied, plenty of fine, prickly carbonation. Bubbles up too much to call it crisp.

Threw an extra .25 points in to the overall category for being gluten free. I'm not strictly gluten intolerant, but it does have an effect on me, especially my complexion. Would probably drink even more beer were this not the case.

The best way to describe this is imperial Budweiser. That was my first impression. It tastes alot like Budweiser but the taste profile is stronger.

And to be frank, that is not a good thing. I'm glad I tried it but it is my first and last time trying it.

Poured into a Stella Artois chalice.

Look: Clear golden colored body. White head that recedes to a thick film. Bands of lacing.

Aroma: Slightly skunky, barley, grains.

Taste: Really sweet metallic taste up front. Malted barley, grains, tangy finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium to light.

Overall: Just tastes like another euro pale lager ... a little skunk for a brown bottle though ?

Pours a clear yellow with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of grain and frosted corn flake aromas. Taste is much the same with toast, grain, and sweetened corn flake flavors on the finish. There is a very mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that still tastes like a normal beer of this style even though it is gluten removed.

Sampled this evening while enjoying the nice weather on the upper patio deck. Comes in a 330ml (11.2 ounce) bottle and is good until: "10/15". Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in to a 'Red 7' billiard ball flute glass (I have the whole set of 15).

Brew pours a straw-yellow in color with a good 1-finger foamy white head that finally settled down to a thin layer mostly around the edges after a good while. Some spotty sheets of lacing was seen when sipped. The aroma is of some light grains and hops for the most part. Pretty much is said for the taste as well with a hint of sweet corn. Crisp with a dry finish. Lighter-bodied with good carbonation that is "Crafted to Remove Gluten". Overall, it was just OK.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass,
Aroma- grassy with a rather strong alcohol aroma
Appearance- Straw yellow with a small white head.
Taste- Has a semi sweet grain flavor, not my cup of tea but not terrible
Palate- This is a light bodied brew with moderate carbonation. not terrible but there are better beers out there.

Yes. 5s all round. When a beer drinker gets diagnosed as gluten intolerant it's a rather large downer. Condemned to drink wine, spirits and cider for ever. This beer is a godsend. Love it.

Being a celiac in Indianapolis - this is the closest thing to beer as you're going to find. Growing up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and only recently discovering my gluten intolerance, this beer is a God-send!!! If you can drink normal beer, I can see how it'd be a 3, but here in Indy, it's a 5

Brilliant gold in color with a fingernail of eggshell white. Excellent clarity and light lacing. Heavy aroma of corn with a hint of skunkiness. The flavor is corn on the front of the palate and then a familiar well water edge from what I think is Danish lager yeast takes over. The mouth is thin and watery.

Poured into a lager glass from a cold 12 oz. bottle. Light golden color with 2 fingers of head and good lacing thereafter.

Medium aeration upon pouring, lasts a good bit.
Aroma: barley, barley, and a little bit of hay.
Taste: Straight home lager taste with just a little hint of malts. Refreshing. Definitely not a light taste -- more malty than the color would suggest.
Mouthfeel: Nothing unusual or significant to report.

A: crystal-clear, light-bright amber gold color... huge, poofy, mess of white foam, almost like it was bottle-conditioned

S: wet sidewalk, wet park bench, perhaps lightly ashy... lightly-burnt toast, faint... more or less a weak, bland, familiar crisp macro lager scent... scant tannic apple notes... decent aromas, but as silent as the TV with the MUTE on

T: mild, clean maltiness with a gritty, papery overtone and subtle toasted grain finish... quite clipped and dry... quite dry... phantom kiss of sweetness up front... only enough hop to balance - perhaps a muted, vegetal tone to them - could be in combo with mineral notes from the water and/or fermentation

M: mellow carbonation - barely a tingle... hint of a rubbery elasticity to the body, awash in perimeter foam crystals

O: if you would've told me this was below the gluten threshold, I would've went "oh..."... tastes like a fine, malty everyman lager to me... preferable alternative to the slough of sorghum beverages that still mostly fail to taste like cerveza

A - It is golden in color and clear. It is topped with four inches of fluffy white head.

S - The smell is sweet and faint with a slight metallic smell.

T - It starts out tasting a lot like a European pale lager. But I don't get that skunky or metallic taste. This beer is actually better than most Euro lagers I have tried. It has a clean finish.

M - Moderately thin but not watery

O - It 's actually not bad. I was expecting something horribly and am pleasantly surprised. That said, it is not a great beer. It is better than an adjunct lager so celiac disease sufferers can enjoy that.
