Presentation: 12 oz stubby green bottle, states that the beer is brewed with crystal clear water, finest hops, select cereal grains and pure yeast … isn’t that what all American macro breweries put on their labels? No freshness date.

Appearance: Yellow straw colour with a semi sticky lace that fades to just a mere ring of lace.

Smell: Hmm … cooked cereal grain, ghost like DMS / cooked veggies and some husky grain make up the vaguely clean aroma.

Taste: Smooth with and odd crispness off the moderate carbonation, grain with undertones of cooked corn. Astringent flavours pull hard and leave a dry bitty mouth feel. Hops are processed and lean and add to the astringent flavours. More and more grain and astringency evenly flow, not to the point of not being drinkable. Big veggie after tastes is not pleasurable either.

Notes: Nothing like a crappy Dutch beer, Heineken may have done it right the bad way but this beer steals the show for being not only bland but with the imported lager taste too and doing it all the wrong way ... either way they are the same only this one is cheaper $$$ so buy this one over Heineken. This beer is just not happening at all.

This is my first review and this is how most of my reviews will be, short, sweet and to the point.
Hollindia is a decent cheap beer. Id prefer it over a Bud, Miller or Coors. The price is right too. At Food 4 Less you can get a 4pk of 16.9oz cans for 2.99. That has to be one of the best deals you can get for a beer that wont make you gag. It really is like a cheap version of Heineken. Id recommend this beer to anyone who just needed a couple of beers for the night and was on a budget.

500ml Can.

A: pours a light golden color with a decent head that fades quickly to just bits of lacing.

S: Aroma of fresh grain and herbal, with some malt sweetness.

T: Taste is quite bland with some malt sweetness and grain. Very mild bitterness and a fairly clean finish.

F: Light body, fairly smooth but short on flavor.

O: Another Euro Lager that is non-offensive.

Golden color with lots of fluffy head with medium retention.
Sweet aroma with notes of herbal hops, though inferior to other similar beers.
Taste follows nose, quite sweet, not sure if a result of the maltose addition. Notes of herbs. Mildly dry and bitter aftertaste.
Medium body with very low carbonation
It is more of a barley juice with low drinkability, I will remember not to drink it again.

Purchased this for $2.50/4-pk of pint cans. Was on sale at F4L for 2 pks/$5 so I HAD to get it.

A- This beer poured a light clear gold with a 1/2" fizzy white head that dissipated down to just a white fizzy covering fairly quickly. There actually WAS some lacing down the glass as I drank it.

S- Very typical "Dutch beer" hop aromas. Lightly herbal hops and just a hint of malt.

T- Out of the gate, this beer tasted sweet to me for the style. It reminded me of Miller High Life. There's more malt flavor vs. hops, but both are really mild.

M-I would say the mouth feel is thin and somewhat - watery.

D- It's drinkable for sure...very light and easy going. Low alcohol which I like. Good cheap party beer for MilBudCor people. ...And they'll think they're livin high and got something imported. :-)
