I recently made a quick stop here while in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood. The building sets back a bit from the street. As you enter the bar is directly ahead of you. Immediately to your right is a pool table with seating to the left.
The bartenders were all prompt, friendly and courteous. The female bartenders were very attractive, the male bartender was (in my view, YMMV) not as attractive.
About 20 brews on tap, mostly Euro Lagers, or similar types, with a couple of local craft brews also on the board. The menu was typical British pub fare, although we didn't eat.
Overall, a fine little pub. If you like the soccer, you'll like watching it here. I'll stop in again next time I'm in the area.

Dropped in while in the fremont neighborhood.
Upon walking in, the english pub motif stands out, with lots of soccer stuff on the wall, and other english decorations.
The staff seems friendly enough, and the is about average.
The tap list is nothing special, mostly consisting of various mediocre english beers that cost to much.
I did't try any of the food, but it seemed like standard english pub fare.
I guess if you like english pubs this would be a good place to go. However in terms of beer avoid.

Stopped in here on a Saturday after lunch after driving around looking for a place to park. Walked into a mixed bag of socialites and old locals. It looked like a "place to be" versus a beer place for me. Inside it was barely lit, bar area meets you walking and toward the back. Patio out front. I had heard it was sordove pet friendly and thats why I stopped really, just to see.Not warming, the vibe was like. The beer selection was nothing beyond what I would find at FADO or something else. Mainstream beers I could find anywhere. I had one pint ad left. I would say it would be worth a stop but with so many other choices I would find it hard to justify a BA going here.

I've been to The George & Dragon twice now while in Seattle on business. Both times were to watch Arsenal FC play.
The George & Dragon has a typical and comfortable English pub feel. It's dimly lit, they have lots of dark woods and it's decorated with English and soccer paraphernalia. The center bar is surrounded by small tables, a pool table and TVs.
The place has a great vibe during soccer games. There's a great fan base in the area and they come out in full force for the matches. There's nothing quite like an early morning match with a pint of Guinness and an English breakfast.
The beer selection is typical for an English pub (Guinness, Stella, Boddingtons, etc.). But they have a few locals including Elysian's The Immortal and Mac & Jack's African Amber.
The George & Dragon doesn't have much for craft beer bit it's a great place for a pint and a bite if you're into English pubs.

Years ago, I wandered into the George & Dragon on a nice afternoon. I found a good, mildly rowdy, eclectic little pub with passable food and a fair selection of international brews. I would return now and again, taking advantage of the live World Cup coverage or just enjoying a loud night with my buddies.
More recently, however, the place has attracted the sort of element I used to associate solely with the Ballroom up the block. No combination of atmosphere, beer, and soccer is enough to put up with this crowd and I have since abandoned the pub for greener pastures.
My advice? Unless you're going solely to get hammered and drunkenly ogle the sweating, inebriated flesh, choose another destination.

Selection - Leans towards English beers but since this is an English pub what else would you expect. Not being English myself I've hgad the opportunity to have a few new beer experiences here. Having an Englishman as a friend helps in the decision making process too.
Service - The staff is quite friendly and is willing to help you make a selection if you're overwhelmed by the amount of beers many Americans may not be familiar with. On busy nights it can be hard to get service. Again, having an Englishman as a friend can help get quicker service.
Atmosphere - This place is quite small and can be quite loud and crowded. If you're claustrophic or don't like being bumped by strangers or having to squirm your way through a throng of people this place may not be for you. They also air soccer matches here. I've gone to a couple and it's always a good time.
Location - Located in the popular Fremont neighborhhod of Seattle. Because of the popularity of the area it can be hard to find cloose parking on weekend nights. If you manage to geta spot in their parking lot you have officially found rockstar parking.
Food - I didn't have any.

The bathroom smells like piss. It's full of smoke. The chips are a bit on the soggy side. You gotta' love this place cause' its real. Leave your ego at home because you won't find many in this place. Just pull up a stool at the large U-shaped bar or grab a table, kick back, relax and throw down a few.
Although it gets pretty packed, especially on Sunday for futball on the telly, the waitstaff do a good job of meeting your needs. There are 18 beers on tap, including some Brit favs (John Courage, Boddingtons), Irish staples (Guiness, Harp, Bass), and some NW beers (Alaskan Amber). Also a few bottled beers available. The food is ok - but authentic English Pub fare - the fish n chips are decent and so is the tomato and cheese sandwich (can't really screw that one up).
There are a full slate of games on the telly, conveniently posted on the G & D web site (www.georgeanddragonpub.com), free pool on Monday, and Quiz night on Tuesday (way harder than your typical Trivial Pursuit version you get at a lot of other places. Overall this is a great pub.
