I stumbled upon this place last night. I was only expecting a little selection of quality beer. I was very wrong. I have only lived in the San Diego area for about 6 months, but this place has the best selection I have seen for a liquor store. There are other stroes with a better selection, but they are more like specialty stores, like Beverages and More. This place is on a different level. For what it is, this store is great. If you are ever in the area, go there. They have many coolers with great beer. No matter what style you are looking for, you will probably find it there.

This is not the great liqour store that everyone is talking about. Has everyone that rated this been to keg and bottle 2 or the holiday wine cellar??? This place carries beers that you can find at almost any decent liqour store, but doesn't have the biggest selection. The Holiday wine cellar carries random beers you can find no where else in SD, and the keg and bottle has everything else you need. They had a lot of stuff that I could tell were old because I have come to find that san diego liqour stores can only get the same stuff as other stores....Go to the other places first before you got to this over-rated place.

I stopped by during my vacation while introducing friends to 'good liquor stores' in their own areas. We walked in and only saw a few coolers with local ales, and then proceeded to the back, where most of the more amazing beer is kept. The selection was quite impressive. They carry most west coast brewers, a large number of belgians, germans, and tons of ales. They had Duvel, Chimay, Orval, even some Cantillon! Although we just went to check out the place, we walked out with sixty dollars worth of beer, including a Double Bastard and a Unibroue Terrible. There was just so much good stuff.
