On cask at the Hilden Beer Festival, 2012.

Clear gold with steady web of off white froth. Weak bread crust and orange rind nose.
Sour grain and pan crust goes into wood chip hops.
Apricot jam finish and sour linger and maybe a touch of vanilla. Soft, round, light edging to medium.

Another mis-categorized English Blonde Ale...

Bramling Cross and Chinook.

Underpowered, indistinct, and actually a bit lactic. There's a sour berry tang in the back that could be the Bramling, but Chinook are AWOL. Lame even by generous summer golden ale standards.

I think it's time for me to get out of the Bath.
