On gravity at the Belfast Beer Festival, 2013.
Hazy pale gold with white froth.
Juicy fruit and pineapple nose - bright!
Mango and some graininess then big fruit salad (kumquat, citrus) hop end.
Mandarin rind finish and pithy end.
Crisp, soft, slight chew.
Bright, tropical hops. Could murder this at such a low ABV. Kristian sez: "A fruity little number."
Turns out it's Nelson, and Rooster's does lots of New World hopping; interested in this brewery now.

Handpump half-pint at the White Horse.
A: Slightly hazed pale orange-amber body topped by a stunningly solid, creamy finger of ecru foam. This head looks like meringue, but is so heavy it only leaves light lace. Beautiful.
S: FLoral hops, bready malt, and a simply huge dose of overripe fruit - apricots in particular, with peach and nectarine to boot. I kind of like it, but I am somewhat put off by the near-rottenness of the fruit smells. Weird, but enjoyably so.
T: The apricot carries through and really dominates the flavor, with sweetness giving way to some hoppy bitterness on the aftertaste. Ok, but not what I was looking for.
M: Medium body, well-carbonated for a cask.
O: I was really impressed by the amount and intensity of flavor offered by this session beer, but the overripe fruit just got a bit overbearing. I won't be seeking it out again, but look forward to trying more from this brewery.
Cheers!
