Half liter swingtop from the LCBO.
Pours a cloudy golden/light orange, fluffy white head forms, quickly settles down to a thin ring, some lacing on the glass, looks okay. Smell is neat, light banana, tiny bit of spice, honey, bready malts, grass, light bit of herbal hopping, wheat, vanilla, solid. Taste is similar, light bready malt and vanilla, banana, hint of citrus, light orange peel, quite dry in the finish, not a lot of flavour but decent. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation, pretty damn smooth and good for hot weather.

May 2007: 450 ml brown swingtop bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 5.5%. Golden colour, slightly hazy. Huge white head. Strong and sweetish aroma of candy, banana, citrus and bubblegum. Typical hefeweizen flavour with banana and cloves, hints of citrus. Somewhat sweeter than the bulk of hefeweizens. Very refreshing.

Very nice beer when poured into a glass.
There will be a very fresh and creamy head that will last to the end as you are drinking it.
Very enjoyable will buy again

500 ml can from the LCBO for around $3 CDN. This appears to be back if only for a short while. Served cold into a weizen glass and review is from notes.
Appearance - Like most beers in the style, the pour is predicatbly sensational, with lots of hazy rich golden colored beer pouring out and a two plus finger white head coalescing on top. Great staying power, and some decently styled but sparse lacing.
Smell - Some banana and a touch of clove with a grainy generic aroma underneath.
Taste - Light with banan and wheat and hints of coriander. A little to sweet and the flavor while good lacks depth of the German giants, but pretty solid overall.
Mouthfeel - A bit thinner than the best in the style. Carbonation is alright though.
Overall - A pretty good hefe, but lacks the magic and theater of the likes of Ayinger, Weihenstephaner and Schneider-Weisse. Certainly wouldn't turn one down though.

L - goldish yellow leaning towards orange, with a slight haze. White foam color. Doesn't stick around for long.
S & T - fresh tart wheat, clovey, sweetness, hint of synthetic banana
F - standard abv, light mouthfeel, and fresh enough to be quite chuggable.
O - very drinkable. decent. But quite sweetish. But not super special.
Won't particularly recommend this one.

A pretty clear colour, doesn't really feels like an unfiltered weizen.

Light orange, carbonated, with a very beautiful white foam hat, creamy.
Wheat, yeast and cloves in the smell, tending to band-aid and medicinal notes.
Almost no banana. Same in the taste.
Some yeast in the finish, along with a sweetish note, not great for the drinkability.
Still, decent.
