Hazy golden color with a huge white head, disappears after a while. Leaves a fair amount of lacing, and a thin sudsy layer on top. Very very cloudy with some floaters.

Nose is kind of sweet, honey, citrus, cork/oaky smell, similar to a chardonnay. It's pretty complex, very interesting. Taste is... crazy weird. Honey comes across VERY strong, and there are lemon and orange notes in there as well. It's oddly not as sweet as I'd expected, the honey flavor is just quite strong. The alcohol comes through quite a bit, but the bready malts help balance it out. Lots of roasted, toasted flavors near the end adding a bitter flavor that dries out the palate.

Mouthfeel is thick, sudsy chewy. Oily and slick. Overall this is a very complex, interesting beer. After a while the alcohol content is overwhelming, not sure I'd want a bomber of this again all by myself. But it's one to try.

EDIT:
It took a while for me to get through half of this- by the time I got to the second half, it was muuuuch warmer. And it really started growing on me. It became more floral and grassy, the flavor really improved. I'd for sure get this again, and let it warm up more before I drank it. TRY this.

Bomber > Pint Glass

A - Cloudy caramel amber with a finger of white thick frothy head, medium lacing.
S - Tart orange, sweet roasted caramel malt, a little honey, pear, pine, somewhat astringent.
T - Very very sweet caramel malt, bready, slightly tart, orange, a little nutty, very sweet and kinda singular in forms.
M - Clingy sweet chewy bleh.
O - Big disappointment for me, overly sweet, not enough balance with the hops.

Poured from a 750ml caged & corked bottle into an imperial pint glass.

A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a large off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick but spotty lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains caramelized malts, honey, citrus and a good amount of hops.

T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of caramel, honey and citrus. Then a hearty malt character comes in. The hops presence is a bit subdued for the style but it’s complementary and provides a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.

M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, good kick, good representation of style, this is a very solid beer to drink for a long time if you want an IPA with less of an edge than most.

11.2 oz bottle was poured into a pint glass.

Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is a slightly hazy pale orange color with some vision of bubbles coming up through the glass.

Smell: Some citrus fruitiness, pungent, floral, toasted, and caramel malts.

Taste: Herbal, citrus, chewy toasted malts, and sweet caramel to balance things out. Mild tingly bitterness in the rear.

Mouthfeel: A bit smooth, chewy, light to medium bodied, and medium carbonation.

Overall: For an EIPA, this is probably the best one that I have had so far. Hoppy, herbal, malty, and delicious.
