Had this beer at Founder's brewpub and loved it. Pours a pale cloudy unfiltered golden color with a decent sized head. Although it didn't stick around too long, it was nice and thick. The scent is amazing. Banana, citrus mixes well. The bartender game me a slice of lemon with it, which was nice. Had to try one without and it was equally as good. The flavor was subtle yet flavorful. Tastes of banana, wheat and citrus were present. Low bitterness. Very tasteful beer.

Listed on their menu as having 4.5% abv; 18 IBU's; and 144 calories per pint. It's quite hazy; and its very light-straw colored body appears a bit orangeish at its center while sitting on the bar, but reveals yellowish highlights when held to the light. The short, bright white head drops readily but maintains a thin surface covering and leaves some lace about the glass. The nose expresses a sweet, wheatish malt with a delicate banana and clove aspect to it; and within those bounds it's very clean and enticing. It's tingly, very fine carbonation leaves it crisp in the mouth and awakens the tastebuds leading to a standard weizen flavor that's lightly spicy with a mild banana and clove character. It's a bit restrained (probably fermented a touch cooler looking towards a wider range of sales) and very drinkable. It's not as rich as some of the leading examples of the style, but I've had several far more subtle versions from Germany as well. A refreshing and flavorful brew during the summer months that's worth trying!
