Appearance: Pours a very dark brown body with an inch of churned, beige foam.
Smell: Dark malty accents smelling of carob, light chocolate, blackened toast, scorched cream and licorice.
Taste: Toasty, roasty in the fore with some slight carob, less-than-sweet chocolate and very minor licorice. Minimal dark fruitiness. A chary bitterness creeps in at the midpoint. Drying with a persistent dark maltiness which slowly lingers on the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel overall.
Overall: While it won't knock your socks off with a myriad of complexities, it's amply flavorful and an ease to drink at 5.5% ABV.

33cl bottle from Schipol. Dark brown pour, thin, creamy beige head. Aroma is roasty, bitter and dry. Taste brings a little chocolate to the dry roastiness, lingering bitterness, but taste finishes quickly. Seems a little thin.

Shared 300 ml bottle at local tasting, from Voldby Købmandsgaard. BB date 9.Nov 13. ABV is 5.5%. Black colour, tan head. Malty aroma, notes of molasses, only mild roasty notes with hints of mild coffee, chocolate and dark dried fruits. The flavour is not very sweet, and here the roasty notes of coffee are more distinct. Some hops in the finish. A quite decent stout.

Look: opaque reddish, head disappears quickly but leaves decent lacing.
Smell: not much in this department, essentially roasted malt and a bit of rubbing alcohol.
Taste: roasted stuff, malt and coffee, a tad of alcohol too. A bit of mineral/earthy tones as well, which I found a bit obtrusive. Bitter cocoa aftertaste.Definitely not bad but nothing to write home about.
Feel: quite light, not much body. Rather dry.
Overall: Decent supermarket stout.

Small bottle ive had for at least 2 years in the cellar. Poured into a snifter appears black with a nice finger of khaki froth that fades leaving a wall of lace.
It smells roasty with raison, milk chocolate and earth. A mild oxidative touch towards the backend.
This tastes identical to what the nose leads on. Also present is anise along with the raison and milk chocolate character. Some oxidation, minerals and earthy bitterness and roast round out the rest of the profile.
This is light in body with modest carbonation. Take it or leave it, I dont think id desire having this again unless it was gifted.
