330ml bottle. Tulip glass. Golden amber, clear appearance. White froth creates a close but quickly dissipated head. Belgian yeast, herbal, spiced, crystal malt aromas & hints of anice. Sweet maltiness at first sip. Full body. Moderate carbonation. Oily. Warming alcohol & herbal bitterness in the middle. Dried nut soft astringency. Slight sugary finish & spicy touch.

On-tap at Jopenkerk, Haarlem, Netherlands

A: The beer is hazy light pale yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high off white head that died down and left lacing on the surface and down the ides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of candi sugars and sweetness are present in the nose along with some hints of green apples.
T: The taste is slightly sweet and has flavors of candi sugars along with hints of fruits and yeast.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation along with some hints of warming deform the alcohol.
O: This beer isn't very fruity for a triple but manages to hide any flavors of alcohol very well from the taste.

A clear, orange, copper beer with a settling head.

The smell is mostly bready and dough. The beer smells malty with notes of honey, dextrines and some lavander and camomille.

The taste is malty with notes of sweet dextrinous malt which add a honey taste. The bitterness is nicely balanced by the full body. The hops appear to be a mixture of US and European hops. There is a citric layer, as well as a herbal and earthy taste. A nice take on the tripel style, somewhere in the middle of an IPA and a tripel.

Bottle of 330 ml, with a long neck, pretty similar to the bottles of american beers. From the back label, roughly translated "This is a beer with three grains, Trinitas is the Trinity (the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit). In Germany according to the beer purity law, the holy trinity is water, malt and hops. Our own unity of three is barley, wheat and oats".
First smell as soon as I opened the bottle, was yeast, with a fruity aroma following straight away. Once poured into my chalice, it gave me a one and a half fingers of off-white, short lasting head, creamy in texture. It left me with some heavy lacing around the glass. Colour of the beer was deep orange, slighty hazy.
Aroma is not much different once poured than it is when you first open the bottle. Bready at first, with a fruity smell following, mostly those fruits being peaches and apricots. Some alcohol smell lies beneath them, but it;s very faint and is only traceable if you really insist to perceive all of the aromas.
Alcohol is much more obvious on the taste though. Some of the apricots can be found on the taste as well, alog with some caramelized malts, the latter being quite weak, or balanced, if you prefer, with the drying, bitter finish of the hops.
Medium thickness on the body and average carbonation.
Overall, it was a good beer and I quite liked it I must say, although I didn't have enough time to really enjoy it, not that it would make any great difference if I did. Nothing to be really excited about, but a decent and honest tripel that won't disappoint you.

A: lots of suspended sediment, not much head, medium golden orange, no visible rising carbonation.
S: if an orange wasn't very sweet, peach, slight yeast, dense and intense (high alc), bit bready.
T: dense but mediocre flavor. a hair bitter, a hair sour, but kind of just plain. alcohol is fairly masked
M: pleasant buzzing sting, medium body.
O: ok, mediocre. Nothing offensive but nothing to jump about.

Tripel grain tripel, 33 cl bottle.
Mentioned as the same beer the brewery started producing at their 15 year anniversary.
I didn't know it, but it's pretty good also.

Golden colour with a lot of floaty bits in it, good carbonation, reasonable soapy head, with ok lacing as well.
Smell and taste pretty of fresh citrus, some herbs and spices. Very malty taste too. Aftertaste is rather sweet for a tripel. Malty.
The alcohol comes through quite strong, but it isn't too harsh.
Overall it's a well crafted beer...
like many other tripels.

Smell: sweet malts, straw, citrus, yeast, flowery hops
Taste: Sweet malts, citrus, some caramel, flowery hops, spicy, with a bitter finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body, soft carbonation.
Overall: Nice brew
