Had this at Braukunstlive 2014 in Munich, Germany...an Oak-aged RIS, or the Houten Haarlem #3, as they called it. Again, WOW. It was really chocolatey, but that very heavy and quite dry. They don't mention this beer on their website, so it might be a one-off, but it was great. It was very fresh, considereing they'd probably just driven over from Holland.
Serving type: on-tap

Bottle at Jopenkerk, Haarlem, Netherlands
A: The beer is essentially jet black in color - only hints of amber are visible near the edge of the glass when it is held up to a bright light. It poured with a quarter finger high tan head that died down but never completely faded away.
S: Moderate aromas of dark roasted malts are present in the nose. Some alcohol becomes perceptible as the beer warms up.
T: The taste is similar to the smell and has faint hints of oak from the barrel aging; these seem to stand out and linger through the finish. Only hints of alcohol are noticeable towards the finish and become a little stronger as the beer warms up.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink considering its strength -only some hints of alcohol are noticeable in the taste.
