(A) Pours clear and orange with some copper hues. Very little head that dissipates quickly and leaves a ring of head around the top of the beer.

(S) Has a bit of hops but is dominated by the roasted character of the malts. Has some biscuit and bread to it.

(T) Biscuit and cereal are the bready base of this beer. Slightly toasted malts and almost gives a buttery toast flavor. Honey and slight sugars. Almost a hint of brown sugar. Decent amount of caramel.

(M) Slightly grainy but overall it's pretty smooth. It's medium body all the way but it's fairly rich.

(O) Not bad at all. I'm really getting impressed (to a point) with the offerings from Emmett's. Kind of a local pub for me and I try to frequent it once a week. This beer is pretty solid. Lighter in color and more of a lighter, sweeter taste than most Oktoberfests but it's really good.

Sampled 10/7/2010 at the brewpub.

Pours orange/red, clear, white head, decent lace and retention.

Aroma is of white grapes, citrus, and malt.

Flavor is orange, grape, caramel, and a touch of cardboard. The orange is odd but very nice. Almost like a percentage of hoppy red ale was mixed in.

Body is medium, a bit heavy for the style but enjoyable none the less. Very drinkable due to citrusy qualities.
