19th Oct 2012: 33cl bottle in 't Puur Genot, a strange Irish type bar in Diest. The 7.5% ABV beer came out into my glass like dirty dish water, murky and grubby brown looking, nice head of off-white bubbles though.
Caramel and candy sugar aroma and flavour to the brew: a lot more malts than hops in this unbalanced, yet not unpleasant beer. Fruity notes came through as it warmed a little but the overiding taste was of sweetness from maltly molasses.
The alcohol could be found and some yeastiness also: but although I enjoyed the bottle I didn't order another, nor will I ever again.

Bottled sample aquired via trade. Amber in colour with medium to strong carbonation. The aromas are somewhat saison-like, with notes of hay, marshmallow, and lemon. Flavors are of pale malts, grassy and earthy hops, thyme, mint, and kosher salt. Light bodied, and hides its alcohol well. Quite drinkable, but with loads of character too. Surprisingly good, considering its low ratings.

It has a red color, white foam, not so beautiful. A lot of loating chunks.
Sweet, sweet smell, fruity, with candy sugar.
The taste is again too sweet, too fruity, with cherry note.
Absolutely too sweet and cloying, useless.
The drinkability is almost null.

BB may 2006. Good haed and amberbrown beer. Big chunks floating in it though that makes it not that inviting.
Nose is very spicy giving anis koreander, liqorice somehow getting to medicinal. Sweet candy and matltiness make it intresting though. Taste is strongly alcoholic, litle sweet medicinal, liqorice, and normal maltyness aswel as hops are totaly in the back. Taste gives it a strange not beerlike moutfeel also. Especially with the big chunks in it that are noticable in mouth and throat. Hard to drink but certainly anything else as the regular.
