This 'donkerwit' or darkwhite beer pours a amber color with little head and a good amount of carbonation.
Smell was not very distinct, some wheat grainy notes and a fair amount of yeast smell, but not like a witbier or weizen.
Taste is fresh, wheat like and sizzling of carbonation. Some caramel notes and a bit sticky on the lipps. The yeast did not give a lot of character, certainly not a witbier/weizen taste. Very low bitterness.
This beer does not have the dryness and yeast profile of a dunkel weizen and is more a fresh summerbeer, rather than a dark wheat.

I understand why it is categorized as a dunkelweizen as there is wheatmalt in it, but i'd rather would call this a brown ale or a belgian dubble style of beer.
It has it origin on Texel a Dutch Island tot the North. Skuumkoppe is local dialect for "schuimhoofd", refers to a head of foam (like see waves can have). The bottle says it is nowadays brewed in the Heineken Brewery in Den Bosch, south on the mainland.
Poured from a 300ml dark bown bottle, at around 5 degrees celcius in a Skuumkoppe glass, 2 finger off-white head. Pretty amber coulour, nice natural carbonation, medium small bubble.
Smell, bread and sweat, salty caramel.
Malts are tasted well, bit of honey, quite a bitter after taste.
Mouth feel good at first, round but a little harsh on the aftertaste bitterness.

On tap in Amsterdam. To me this isn't the typical dunkel, especially in appearance. Much lighter in color, orange instead of brown. Taste is somewhere between a dunkel and trippel with a sweet sour flavor. A unique beer worth trying.

On tap 't Pandje. Orange amber with a creamy 2 finger head. Smells like malt with vanilla. Taste follows. Frisky malts with a smooth vanilla taste. Makes for a smooth beer. A bit too sweet to be perfect. Still tastes amazing.

enjoyed while watching willem ii trying not to get crushed by ajax. this is an ordinary but not unpleasent dunkel, nice brown bread malt flavours, sweet dark fruits, bit of treacle, but flavours pretty subdued, light bitterness on the finish, medium to high cabriantion, light bodied, pretty drinkable, nothing remarkable but grand

Amber colour, some sediments, small foamy head.
Nice hoppy smell, flowery mostly.
Fruity and herbal taste, with some mellow sweetness in the background.
Easy to drink, very refreshing and pleasant.

Forgettable dunkel. Nothing wrong with it, in fact pretty true to style, especially in feel. The taste is more hoppy than expected, but nothing undesirable. Nose more fruit heavy, taste more wheat and malt heavy.

Fine look but the taste is a bit hollow and hesitant. Not bad, not great.

A really nice Dunkelweizen beer. It has a nice brown colour to it. The taste ist sweat and malty with little or no bitterness or hop flavours. A good beer, could be a bit stronger.

L - hazy yellow with orange, barely any white head
S & T - starts generically, but pleasantly tart. Barely any malt or hops, though. ends on a sweet finish with hints of pear/banana. Almost no bitterness.
F - dries the mouth/lips a bit
O - solid-ish weizen. Nothing off per se. Nicely tart, balanced by the fruity sweetness in the finish without leaning too far towards that off-putting synthetic banana-esque flavor. But a little bit weak and 2-dimensional at the same time.
Can't particularly recommend this one.
