First off, thanks to my fellow BA's for stearing me in the direction of this place on my firs(and sadly short) trip to Stockholm. Secondly, another huge thanks to the other 7 in my crew that split the cab fare from our hotel into the city!

It was two hours before closing, and the weather was awful and the bar was crowded. Everything else was flawless! Service was very prompt at the bar even without speaking a drop of Swedish and asking questions about the extensive offerings. Had a few local pints before getting to the real reason I visited Akkurat...the cellar. First offering was no longer in stock, but quickly "settled" on a 2002 Cantillon Lou Peppe Framboise. Pricey I suppose if you just looked at the amount, but when you consider how long theyve properly aged it and how damned Nirvanesque that nectar was, I would have gladly dropped another chunk for another bottle. Alas, closing time, maybe I was lucky.

Draft selection is broad and great, though didnt hit any other comparable bars so cant compare to others. Cellar and normal bottle selection were overwhelming in a great way. Hell they even had
Konjaks! Stormaktsporter available!

If you go to Stockholm, go here...alot...till you run out of money :).

The best bar in Stockholm. Excellent range of beers including cask ales. Good service. I haven't sampled the food so can't comment on food quality. Also check out Oliver Twist nearby

Another bucket list bar, checked off.

Typical Euro look about the place, reminding me a lot of Belgian beer bars and Monk's back home. Ample bar space, patio seating, and a sort of retro 50's parlor-lookin' inner room with a stage for bands. There's a very "classic" vibe in here. Service was on and off, a little inadequate, but I pretty much have that beef with most European bars I've been to. Regardless, the bartenders were knowledgeable, and beer-savvy. I didn't try any food here, but I came mainly for the beer.

Tap selection was fair to good most of the times (I went here about 5 times during my stay in Stockholm), with some Euro-macro stuff for the faint of heart, and at least one lambic or gueuze on every time. Even tapped a kegged of Fou Foune, which lasted several days. What you're really going for here, is the beer bible, the cellar list. You're going to pay for stuff in this tome, but if you're smart, you can find a lot stuff that is reasonably under black market prices, and if you're sharing with someone, even better.

Akkurat lived up to my expectations for sure. You'll want to go here.

This place is basically beer heaven. After traveling to many breweries and bars, this is the place to go. Huge bottle list with many amazing vintage offerings. The vintage stuff is cheap compared to the regular stuff. Lots of lambic! Great staff! Very friendly and helpful!

Akkurat is, to me, the best beer bar in the world.

Vibe is basically a pub, laid back and quite British.

The quality of the beer is unmatched, these guys now how to handle the beer, especially their casks. They also make sure to have good variety on the board, so everyone can find something they like.

Service is excellent, but Swedish. Not that much chit chat, but everyone knows the stuff, and are helpful.

Now, for the thing that makes Akkurat stand alone, the selection. The tap selection is very good, around 20 taps with most styles rotating. They always have something from Cantillon on tap, which is special in itself. But if you're a beer nerd, and especially if you enjoy sours, ask for the Cuvee list. Akkurat and Cantillon have a special relationship, and it shows in this book. Pretty much eveything Cantillon makes, these guys have and often different vintages. Cantillon have also brewed a few beers for Akkurat, and many of them are available as well. Besides Cantillon, they have a huge number of beers, from Belgian to American, at different ages. You can spend an infinite amount of time and money here, and still not try it all. So, if youre into sour beer, and happen to be in Stockholm, it would be criminal to miss Akkurat. They also make a really good burger!

This is the best beer bar in the world with it's vintage bottle menu alone. Excellent selection of draught beer and the worlds greatest selection of lambics. The bottle and draft list is extensive and prices are fair for pretty much anything and that includes the ultra-rare bottles. Food is excellent. Akkurat has a true passion for the beer and all alcohol they serve!

Arrived 5 p.m. on a Sunday only to find out that it wouldn't open until 6 p.m. Friendly staff but no luck getting in. A live band was practicing, but wouldn't go on until 9 p.m.

Very informal with covered outdoor seating. Otherwise, it seems like a regular bar, albeit one with an incredible beer list. They are understandably proud of their extensive foreign, American brews. I am here for the Scandanavian selections, which is still extensive.

The service is friendly and informal. Like everywhere else in Sweden, everyone seems quite comfortable with English.

The food was very good. Their specialty seems to mussels. My daughter and I had two different kinds--both were excellent. My wife had a homemade sausage dish for her dinner, which was also very well done.

Seems to be a local hangout. We didn't hear any English as a first language. We did note one family switching to English for their order, but the rest seemed to be Swedish.

Amazing beer bar in Stockholm.

Location and vibe is nothing overly special, just a typical looking bar in Sodermalm. But it certainly seems busy, and has a certain buzz about it.

Quality and selection is phenomenal. 20 something taps, and a cellar list like nothing I have ever seen, it's pages long of amazing beers. Some stuff was outrageously priced, but some other things like the wonderful 2000 Mort Subite Gueuze I had was about the same price as some of their draft beer! Amazing. Also, served in proper glassware, and in a lambic basket.

Service was hit and miss. Definitely very pleasant, and not bad at all, just a bit slow. First night we were treated well, and promptly served. The second day we visited, it took a while to be noticed, and even longer to go fetch our beers from the cellar. And even after taking so long to track down my beer, the server came back empty handed when it came to my Mom's choice.

Food was pretty good, but nothing special.

Prices as mentioned, were all over the board. Generally very high (like most everything in Sweden), but some stuff on the vintage list was very reasonably priced.

Come here to be blown away by the cellar, if I was travelling alone, I probably could have spent a lot of time and money here.

Recommended by Bark, and overall notes from others.
This was my kind of place. A real old school bar that also serves as a good restaurant as well. Excellent, very pleasant and very knowledgeable servers. Felt like I could just move in and stay for days. Two bands playing that night. One euro folk pop, the other american roots country. Just fun! Food was great. I had mussels in cider and wife had burger. We're both picky and were both happy.
Ok...now the beer. May have been the best beer list I had ever seen. Had excellent mix of euros and americans with as expected an over the top Belgian portfolio. Decided to have a Cantillon and a Narke...Had a 2011 Lou Pepe Kriek with the mussels and the Akkurat 15th anniversary 2010 Konjaks! Stormaktsporter for dessert...and left wishing I could come back many more times. Brilliant cellar of Belgians with difficult to obtain lambics and a handful of Westys and other remarkable abbeys.
Bad news is I had to leave Stockholm next day; good news...I made it at least once.
Do not skip this place!

This bar has an excellent rotating selection of beers on tap as well as many different varieties in the bottle. There is a blackboard with all currently available beers, their origins, ABV, style, etc. posted within the bar.

The ambience is warm and inviting. The beer is served with the correct glassware and every attention to detail. The serving staff is warm and friendly.

Excellent place to sample new beers. I make a point of visiting it every time I am in Stockholm, which is fairly often.

If you´re into beer and you´re in Stockholm you have to go to Akkurat.
Serving good craft beer for over 15 years.
Local Swedish craft, cask real ale, american craft, belgian craft, german craft and always lambics from Cantillon on tap! Also a big bottle selection and vintage beers.
They also serve good food in different styles, moules frites, homemade bratwurst and swedish food. It can be really crowded during weekends so go there early.
