Pours a thin tan head on a black body.
The aroma is espresso, roasted malt and burnt wood.
The taste is mildly sweet at first, quickly goes to burnt flavor, a little lemon bitterness, and finishes on a cream note.
The texture is fairly crisp with a softness.
Delicious. (269 characters)

Thick black colored beer with a very small brown colored head.

Smells strongly of chocolate and mildly of smoke and caramel. Roasted grain aroma but no scent of oatmeal by itself.

Starts out dry and fairly bitter with the silky texture of an Oatmeal Stout. Mostly coffee and chocolate flavors. Flavor doesn't change much just a dry chocolate and coffee beer.

Mouthfeel is silk.

Overall an OK beer with a great Mouthfeel. (427 characters)

22 oz bottle bought from Kennys IGA in Lincoln City, poured into a plastic glass at hotel. $4.49 as far as i can see its a black bodied beer with a small tan head. Aroma nice oats, chocolate malt and coffee. Nice balanced taste..starts all dark coffee roast and dark chocolate and ends up malty-oatmeal creaminess. Great mouth feel..medium with medium to high carbonation..great dark french roast after taste. Very nice beer on a cold wet coastal evening. (454 characters)

Arrives a dark none, near black with a foamy tan head.

Roasty, nutty, light cocoa notes. A well done beer, but reminds me more of a bone ale rather than stout. (160 characters)

Poured from 22oz bomber into a tulip.

Appearance: totally black with a thin layer of frothy tan foam atop. Not bad at all.

Smell: lightly roasty, lightly sweet aroma; there are caramel notes here as well as a general roastiness. Definitely stouty, but a little low in volume.

Taste: a little bitter and astringent right up front; there's a ton of roastiness here. The astringency continues right through the palate; I like it to a point, but overall it seems a little burnt. It's good if you like that kind of dry burnt-ness.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a relatively low carbonation and a moderate creaminess.

Overall: a bit on the dry and roasty side for me, but not a terrible beer by any means. It just doesn't particularly suit my palate. (757 characters)

22 oz. Bomber

Pours a nice dark thickish brown color, very nice carbonation, with a pretty nice fizzy dark tan head, which leaves some small islands and sticky lacing. The nose is malty, with some nice toffee, chocolate notes, some vanilla thrown in. The taste is very nice, malty, with lots of toffee and chocolate, nice little vanilla note. Medium body, kinda thick brew, slightly bitter finish. Overall a very nice brew, would buy again. Full Sail is another brewery that puts out some pretty tasty brews for a good price. (526 characters)
