Presentation: 12oz brown with a "enjoy by" date clearly marked.
Appearance: Dark reddish amber with a light tan lace.
Smell: Mild fruity esters, toasted malt and hints of fruity/citric hop.
Taste: Crisp and smooth with a moderately full mouthfeel. Lots of malt on the palate with a pungent fruity alcoholic ester and spicy/citric hop character. Hop bitterness is merely just enough with more flavour middle to end. Little bit of fat chewy caramel malt with a drying chocolate which gives a cookie like malt flavour. Finishes off with a drying grain, hop leaf and a touch of residual sweetness.
Notes: A big and impressive Amber Ale ... All American Micro Style. One of the best Amber Ales to come out of the PNW.
