As a fan of Full Sail products I really wanted to like this one but I didn't.
It looks great...very clear golden color topped with a snow white head that lasts.
It claims to be in the league of imported pilsners...Stella, Heineken, Peroni, Becks, etc. But against any of these I think it falls flat.
And that's because to me this beer tasted kinda like soda water with a squirt of 'bitter juice' in it. I didn't get any sweet, biscuity or bready malt flavor and the hops were pure bitterness, no detectable flavor.
I remember reading that when Full Sail formed an alliance with Miller so they could brew Henry Weinhard's, they gained a lot of brewing knowledge by meeting with the Miller chemists and brewers. And I guess that's what this LTD 03 tastes like to me...Miller beer.
I like the Full Sail Pale Ale, Amber Ale and IPA. But this one? No dice.

Bottle into pint glass.
Very fresh and light colored golden pilsner with solid carbonation and a nice snow white head that stuck around for a while.
Smell was a bit thin, you could tell this is more lager than Pilsner. Didn't get any hop smell at all.
Smooth mouthfeel and the right level of carbonation, but the beer was a bit light and sweet to my taste. Thought this might be a bit more German tasting than American lager.
Good, but not one I'll repeat.

Poured a nice clear yellow with very little white head. Looks pretty good for a pilsner. Scents of lager yeast and crystal malt. Smells excellent. Flavor is crystal malt, fruity hops with a lot of stone fruit, apricot mostly, some citrus, moderate malt sweetness and a moderate level of hop bitterness, and a nice cracker aftertaste. A very good taste, a bit dry, and a nice malt backbone to the beer. Very much a Czech pilsner. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with high carbonation. Overall a pretty good pilsner, nice easy drinking on a summer day, recommended.

Poured into a Chuckanut pint glass. Pours a light golden amber with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to a ring around the glass. Mild aroma of grassy hops and biscuit malt. Flavor is biscuit, crackery malt with hints of toasted malt, quite dry pilsner style hops. The grassy hops are to style, but are not balanced with lighter floral notes. Light bodied. A reasonable, but somewhat pedestrian pilsner that would appeal to those who like the the dry end of the pilsner spectrum.

Clear, brassy yellow with a foamy, white head.

Grassy, lightly spicy hop profiles with a solid, malty bread backbone.

Medium+ body, with foamy carbonation.

A well done pilsener, nice hop presence and a solid malt backing.
