Drank from a glass poured from a 12 oz bottle. This beer was featured at the 'Summer Solstices Sunny Solar-bration' event at Venti's Cafe, Salem, OR, Saturday night. LTD 03 was just released, June 2009, this was the first tasting. I drank several.
The Full Sail LTD 03 bottle label and 6 pack carton report
- crisp new pilsner style
- pale golden color
- spicy floral aroma
- thirst quenching
- smooth hoppy finish
a: bright pale golden / straw color; 1/4 inch head / dissipated fairly quickly
s: spicy floral aroma; hint of lemon
t: crisp / balanced hops and malt; mild / lingering hop bitterness
d: nice light / smooth mouth feel. Very drinkable. A perfect summertime thirst quencher. An excellent pilsener. Suitable for a multiple pint session.
I like this beer. It may be number 2 on my pilsener leaderboard; I need side-by-side taste comparisons. I know I will purchase / drink many of these beers. I look forward to finding it on tap. Perhaps, a trip to Hood River is in order.
Full Sail have a good thing going with their exploratory LTD series.

Pours clear gold with very little head. Good steady carbonation. Aroma is grain, flowery hops, faint earth. Taste is sweet malt, exceptionally well balanced with the hops. Bigger and bolder than most pilsners I’ve tried, much better than I expected.

Standard yellow colored fare, lots of clarity, 1/2" white head. Floral, mildly sweet toasted grain.
Taste imparts more grain. High carbonation. Not much else, one of those easy drinkers. Any hop flavors lean grapefruit and lemon.
Pretty plain, although hey, no off flavors.

Clear gold with a good sized white colored head.
Smells grassy with a spicy saffron scent too it. Mildly sweet with a floral and slightly soapy noble hop aroma. Slightly medicinal smelling.
It begins slightly sweet with a grassy after taste. Mildly bitter but it is pretty mellow tasting. Herbal hop flavor is at a medium intensity.
Very easy to drink try this if you see it.

Pours two fingers of head on a clear straw colored body.
The aroma is pleasantly floral with some honey.
The taste starts off with a bite of bitterness, gives way to some mild honey sweetness, and finishes with a dry moderate bitterness. Great balance and profile.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
Excellent.
