Clear copper colour with a creamy light tan head. Decent head retention.
Caramel malt aroma with some citrus. Nicely balanced.
Sweet caramel malts with a good moderate bitterness. A touch of earthy and citrus character adds depth. That said, I feel that it lacks hop flavour.
Medium-full body with moderate carbonation. Good.
A solid if unexceptional APA/IPA. Decent bitterness but it lacks a fruity hop punch.

Bought a 12 oz bottle as part of a mix-a-six, poured into pint glass, not realizing it's their "Spring seasonal" brew. I guess it's always Spring somewhere.
L - Pours a clear, orange/copper color with a good finger of foam that dissipates quick, leaves a thin lacing with some big bubbles.
S - Citrus, honey, malt, some piney northwest hops but more sweet smelling than bitter.
T - Similar to the relative IPA, a blend of orange, honey, caramel, grass, and just enough bitter hops at the end but lingers sweet. Wouldn't call it much of a "pursuit" of hops, maybe a browsing of hops.
F - Light-to-medium body, moderate carbonation, the sweetness would suggest it drinks thick and syrupy, but it's surprisingly balanced and very drinkable.
O - The drink-by date is 9/12/16 so maybe I'm 4 days late in getting the best taste out of this, but it's not bad. It's not much different from the IPA, more citrus and malt than bitter hops, but I'd drink it again, if offered.

Amazing cask IPA. Creamy head that poured well. The Simcoe hops are very apparent on the nose. Taste is creamy, not too bitter for 65 IBUs. The hops linger nicely. A very enjoyable brew

Comes in with a solidly orange appearance, 1/4" white head that can't hold itself up too long, hopefully because of lots of hop oils. Aroma was a little muted, pale honey malt.
Hearty citrus notes, not just grapefruit either. Its there, but its also accompanied by some orange/tangerine like notes but counterbalanced with the toasted pale malts to keep it from coming off as overly sweet nor bitter.
Good bomber price. Would bang again in a six pack.
