I picked this one up at the brewery in Hood River late last spring. I would say it has stood the test of time rather well. Poured in to a pint glass.
Pours a black walnut color and is translucent with a modest off-white head.
Smell is a mild hoppy sour citrus aroma, with a hint of smoke along side.
Taste is very good, a citrus grapefruit flavor, with a bitetr charcoal flavor on the finish.
Mouthfeel is crisp and clean, with a dry charcoal aftertaste.
Overall a very nice drinkable IPA, and the dark roasted flavors are a nice twist. I'm still coming to grips with the style, but this one is very good.

22oz brown bomber with a vintage date on the label.
LOOK: Dark, nearly black, edges of garnet.
SMELL: Soft dank hop resin, hemp oil, floral, pine sap, burnt sugar, highly toasted bread.
TASTE: Slight roasted grain, smooth, medium body, burnt sugar, treacle, brown bread, hop oil, floral, mild citrus.
I'm still having a ton of fun exploring this style, lots of talk of what it is supposed to be and different regions making their own path. Full Sail clearly pulls it off here ... not that I had any doubt.

Clear brown colour with garnet highlights. Creamy, dense, light tan head.
Slightly nutty malt aroma with a piney, resinous hop note. A touch bready.
Smooth sweet malt with a nutty edge. Earthy, resinous bitterness. Good, crisp edge from the hops. Nice.
Medium body with moderate carbonation. Fine.
A decent beer but the cask isn't doing it's job as this lacks a bit of creaminess. The hops could also be a touch fruitier.
