Pours a completely fogged out reddish-orange with a ton of floaties. A finger of bright white heads sits for a while. Spotty lacing.
The nose first starts with pine resin and some slightly fruity hops. There is a great deal of sweet caramel malt as the backbone.
The hop profile starts this one out with pine and mango flavors. The malt profile is semi-sweet, nutty, and has notes of brown sugar and nutmeg.
The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a slightly dry feel. Moderate carbonation.
Overall, decent holiday ale with an almost memorable balance.
