Poured into a nonic.
A. Coppery amber colour with a thin off-white head. Some lace.
S. Very strong grassy, skunky hop aroma, and in a good way. The way you often get when hops are there in abundance.
T. The taste is a lot sweeter than the nose hints at. Nice caramel malts up front, a bit lacking in the middle but a pleasant bitter finish with some strong grapefruit flavours.
M. Medium, quite creamy.
O. Not bad overall, but it doesn't excite me the way some others of this style do. A very drinkable beer, all the same. A nice change from the usual darker, maltier, spicier Christmas fare.
