"This annual favorite is a sublime hybrid of an American style IPA and a winter warmer. The result is a bold brew that celebrates the holidays with an intriguing blend of Centennial hops providing elegant citrus notes balanced by a backdrop of a rich caramel malt body. Dry hopped to amplify the aromas and flavor. Available in 22oz. bottles and draught. ABV 6.5% IBU 68"

Was two months past enjoy by date when purchased and poured. Hopefully its not turned in any way. Poured a finger of sudsy, light beige head that faded away fast, leaving little lacing. Clear and orange with some redness. Great aromas of citrus fruits like orange and pineapple. Some grassy notes, too. Piney and bitter taste followed by the fruits shown by aroma. Light malty sweetness. Not as thick as I was expecting, kind of on watery side, with moderate carbonation. Acidity lingers on tip of tongue. A nice beer that seems to have maintained its structure, despite being two months 'expired'. Delicious cascade hops lend to its bitterness, citrus and floral aromas, yet maltiness seems to be missing where I'd expect it to be in the balance. A great beer that is fun for hop-heads, and offers some interesting spices in the mix. Will buy again fresh next year and compare.

2 days past the enjoy by date?

Good solid, hop forward IPA, not quite as good as SN Celebration.

Bottle label info: ENJOY BY 020315

Deep, copper-colored body featuring a lasting, foamy white head. A strong citrus aroma with a note of pine teases the nose; mild sugary sweetness in the scent. Big hop bitterness rides roughshod over a mild, dried citrus rind and faint malt background. Medium body with a raspy, coarse feel on the palate; very dry finish.

The overall experience has its highs and lows with hops being the core of the story. The malt components are pretty weak and leave the beer feeling and tasting rather watery. But the hops do provide a nice sensory treat to the nose and tongue. The bitterness, especially, should please fans of west coast styled IPAs. The label points out an IBU rating of 68. This beer ultimately winds up being an interesting mish-mash that best serves the your inner hophead desires...

Another one of the beers I wonder why it took be so long to get to, esp. at the price point ($3.99) and the decent ratings.
A really pretty intense hop oil aroma, and since it is something I usually don't favor, this one isn't so bad, but still a mark against it. Additionally, citrus, pine and grass.
Nice color with a reddish hue to the orange amber. Nice dense, almost soapy head with interesting pocking.
Taste also has the intense, excessiveness of the hop oils and it works to make this out of balance, as it covers the other, and IMHO, better flavors elsewhere in the drink. A very brief touch of sweetness. A long smooth bitterness with a touch of dryness.
A little bigger than moderate feel with a soft carbonation. Some malt approaches the advertised Winter Warmer in time, but it pales in presence in comparison to the hop oils.
I usually think of Cenntenial as having the sweet/spicy quality but I"m not finding that here very much.
I like Full Sail, but this one is just not hitting the mark with me.
