Pours out a clear light copper color with a few carbonation bubbles floating to the top. Now that I have a new imperial pint glass this IPA will pour up to a four finger head with out pouring over the glass and the retention keeps it at a one finger head. Very impressive! Sticks all around the glass.
The aroma is classic American IPA: Citrus and pine notes are the first notes you will pick up on. But, there is some light toasted and sweet malt behind it. Nothing is over done.
Again, the taste is a very clean dry hop with bitter pine and citrus notes. But, nothing over the top just very clean. The malt does a good job of bringing a balance to this ale.
Clean finish and medium/light bodied. Very easy to drink.
This is a great example of a classic American IPA. There is a balance of flavor and nothing is over the top.
