Poured from a 12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance/Smell - Appears slightly hazy amber with a flimsy, soapy head that dissipates quickly. Has medium-high carbonation and leaves some broken, soapy lacing. Classic appearance and nothing special. Smells of a pungent bouquet of fruity raisin, pineapple, orange peel, and hints of grapefruit. Cinnamon, pine, citrus, floral hops! Some sweet malt undertones as well. Overall pungent goodness!
Taste/Mouthfeel - Tastes of fruity grapefruit, over ripened plum, pineapple, orange peel, lots of citrus flavors going on. All balanced with a lingering burnt biscuit, hop bitterness, pretty intense and very enjoyable. Not extreme but very good. Mouthfeel is smooth, chewy, fair bite of carbonation on the tongue, and medium bodied. Pretty average feel.
Drinkability/Final thoughts - All in all this is a very good IPA, it's not extreme, overly pungent and intoxicating, but it's of very good quality. Very high quality for such a low price, 6.99$ for a 6pack in CA! I enjoyed all the flavors , and the feel of this beer, and I wouldn't mind having a few on a chilly night, when I'm low on cash. It's decent, and can't be beat on the price, so I say give it a try. Cheers!

Grocery Outlet has this beer for $3.99 a six pack. Don't think there's many beers that are maybe a little better for twice that price.

Appearance:
Light amber, clear. Medium rising bubbles. Small frothy head. Moderate head retention. Leaves a fairly nice lacing behind.
Aroma:
Sweet bready malts, some caramel, citrus-resinous hops, a little fruity.
Taste/Finish/Body:
Hop bitterness is medium, citrus, resinous, hint of woody. Malt backbone, sweet bread and caramel. Slight bitter aftertaste, doesn't linger too long. Medium bodied, soft, pricky carbonation, easy drinking.
Overall:
Just a basic American IPA, nothing really special, but good.

Nice IPA, just a notch above an excellent Pale Ale, but enough to be a IPA.
