Poured a 12 oz bottle into a JFF is my BFF novelty Pint glass.
A: Poured a nice 1/2 fingered creamy head. Poured a nice amber. The lacing wants to stick, but most of it slides back down.
S: I could smell this beauty while pouring. Smells deliciously hoppy, nice citrus and pine notes. Even with the hoppy presence it still smells sweet, malty backbone is nice.
T: This is a nicely balanced IPA. The malty presence appears first giving this drink a nice sweet taste. A nice light citrus coats the mouth and as it sits I simply want to pick up and take another drink.
M: Nice dry medium body with medium carbonation. That crisp dryness I feel like that is this drinks best qualities.
O: Definitely not the strongest or most defined IPA I've had, but it stays nice and balanced where I like to think that it's a great drink for someone just getting into beers. It feels like an IPA that doesn't hit all the flavors that a great IPA hits for me, but it's still damn good. A great session IPA.
