On tap at Mt. Hood Meadows, served in a shaker pint glass, the IPA is a slightly hazy golden orange with a 2 finger off-white head. The aroma was very bright floral hops and a bit of earthy must. The taste was fairly robust in the west coast American IPA style, dominated by the pungent grapefruit citrus of amarillo hops, with a firm malt backbone, a bit of tang and a bitter, slightly dry finish. The Full Sail had a creamy, medium body with light carbonation that went down pretty well, nothing super enticing, but a fine example of this regional style, which are best served fresh.
Serving type: on-tap
