aggressive pour results in a a good 2 finger head which s quickly dissipates into a long lasting off white lacing and quarter inch head. Amber color liquid with moderate carbonation.
Hits very nice malty and piney notes followed by a very mild grapefruit that finishes dry.
I like it personally, not the best Ipa I have ever had, but far from the worst. and not bad at all for a $8 six pack.

A) Clear and light golden colored. Poured a small head that left a bit of lacing behind.
S) Aroma is malt forward with some dark fruits, melon, and burnt sugars. The hops are there showing a bit of pine.
T) More hops on the tongue than in the bouquet with pine, citrus, and floral flavors. Malt creeps in the finish showing sweet melon and burnt caramel. Pleasant finish that lands on the sweeter side.
M) Quite thin but fine carbonation. Drinkability is alright.
O) A pleasant tasting IPA but quite thin and a bit lacking for its style. This IPA could use a revamp.

Poured from a 12 oz. brown bottle with the date code of 6/19/14 clearly readable on the label into a pint glass and get one finger of head.
A: Pours a yellow amber color with on finger of head that dissipates quickly to leave just a ring around my glass and about half of the top covered with a thin soapy covering. Some lacing visible.
S: A little biscuit and a little lemon grass is present. Not much going on.
T: Malt and bread first. followed by citrus. It comes off juicy at first and finishes dry.
M: This is less than medium-bodied and average carbonated. Goes down easy and finishes dry.
O: This is an easy to drink beer. I would have it again but not gravitate towards it. It is easy enough to drink but not really exciting.

Pours a finger of head on a clear straw colored body.
The aroma is mild hay and grain. Not much going on.
The taste has a building lemon and grapefruit bitterness, with a sweet start. It has a good malt backbone.
The body is thicker with moderate carbonation.
The smell was lacking but everything else was good.

This is a decent but by no means amazing IPA. LIttle to no aroma from the bottle. Tastes like a classic IPA--hoppy and carbonated--although more understated that most. Silky and smooth mouthfeel after the first wave of carbonation. Not a lot of different flavors going on for me (at gunpoint I would say this is mildly piney), but pleasant and easy to drink. I wouldn't buy this again but I'll enjoy the bottles I already have.
