A: Orangy, tea esque, with little carbonation and head.

S: Sweet malt. Something citrusy but bitter like a lemon seed. Slightly herby background

T: The alcohol is more apparent than I would expect from this ABV and a pilsner. And that flavor is conjoined with this mild sweetness. Kind of a strange flavor which makes me wonder if I'm tasting pesticides (probably not). Caramel and honey. Apple juice.

M: Drying. No carbonation.

D: It's a strange one. Not as strange as I'm making it out to be, but I wouldn't jump to this one. With that said, it not bad.

Bought this plastic bottle at the Werchter Rock Festival summer 2005.

A clear golden yellow colour. Not much of a head. White and foaly.
Hardly any smell, vague hops.
The taste gives a malt taste that is enriched by flowery hops. Hop taste lingers on.
The aftertaste is quite dry, as can be expected, dominated by hops. Sweetnes in the mouth (cane).

Good Pilsner, unfortunately in the western european trend of making pilsners more sweeter.

Had this one with lunch at Keukenhof gardens (a fabulous gardens, but that's a review for another web site), Lisse, The Netherlands, in April, 2007. 11.2 oz bottle poured into a Paper cup proudly covered with Coke red-white labels.

Very much a standard run of the mill pils, thin and light in color, flavor, and mouthfeel. Hops very light- could have stood up and made themselves notice more. Not a world class czech pils, but decent enough when paired up with my herring sandwich (and that's a review for another web site too!).

Regional brewery producing for people who want easy drinking with their bbq and sports-on-tv, and in bars.
I needed some beer for preparing batter for frying fish, taking the opportunity to review something I wouldn't have bought otherwise.

Golden clear, modest carbonation, modest head, but good lacing.

Smell is faint malty, yeasy. A bit funky.
Equal faint taste, with a bit of hops. funky and dry finish.

Easy and smooth, refreshing.
Easy drinkable, but also very boring.

This is pretty much the same as any other lager. This one is very comparable to Heineken and Grolsch.

30cl Bottle brought back from a mission in Holland: best before May 2013, poured into a Duvel glass on 10 Dec 2012.

It was better than the Hertog Jan beer I had next, but it didn't have to rty hard!

Typical Pilsner look: golden, clear and with a white head that couldn't wait to leave.

Grainy nose with a crisp and semi-sweet taste. Nothing sets it apart from thousands of simular Pilsner/Lagers around the world. Refreshing and non-taxing on the taste buds, un-offensive and ideal to quench your thirst after a days graft: but not a beer the chase after.

Pale gold, almost transparent. Nose of cereal with a touch pilsener specific course. Mouth watery but quite an aftertaste a bit bitter when one feels a slight hop that seems pretty dirty to taste. A little roughness in the drink at the water can be. Easy to drink but that is far too slight, even in its category, to qualify for the tasting.

I had a draft of this on my recent visit to Amsterdam. Whenever I see something I haven't tried I always get a glass or bottle of it. I don't think I was as turned off by it as many of the other reviews. Overall, it was typical of a not so interesting european light lager/light pilsner (i.e. Heineken).

Poured a very light/pale color with a fizzy head. Aroma was somewhat non existent. Flavor was ok, not great but certainly a nice session style beer.

Poured from a bottle 300 ml.

Very clean yellow colour, with almost no bubbles. Nice white 2 finger head. Smell not that good, smells of hay. Thin bodied on palate Tastes as so many other Dutch beers, nothing distinctive. I wouldn't mind it on a hot summer day as it seems a great thirts quencher.

A clear, golden beer with a big bubbled head and constant stream of carbonation.

Smell is slightly sweet and malty with a sulfuric touch and a grainy, corny smell.

Taste is grainy and light malty with a light body and little bitterness or hop aroma. Body is thin. Aftertaste is full, sweet and lingering bitter-ish. A typical European lager with little taste and with clear adjunct flavors. This used to be better in the past.

On my latest travesy through the netherlands with some friends we weren't on too much of a high-end beer trip but rather on a relaxed little time. So when we sat down on the Neude in Utrecht we just ordered something, and were brought Dommelsch.

Not a fantastic lager, by any means. the appearanche is light straw with scarce head. the smell is also very weak to describe being nowhere beyond a few hops and some malt. the taste, likewise, is lagerish, watery and unexciting with a little hoppy end.

all in all not fantastic, not worth many words.
