Edit: This is a celbration ale, the 3000th brew at Rubicon, congrats! By their math that's over 7 million pints, and I'm sure I had a good number of them. While the bartender originally told me it was 10% ABV, it's actually 8.9% according to the brewery literature. It also incorporates 12!!! different varieties of hops including a 10 pound dry hopping addition.
Served in a 10 oz pour.
Wow, talk about an appropriate name for a beer! This is like drinking juiced hops. Pours golden to amber with light white head that recedes fairly quickly. Aroma is intense with hoppy goodness, lots of citrus, a bit of pine and some grassiness. Slight hint of alcohol in the nose, but not much.
Taste follows the aroma with intense citrusy hop flavor and a bitterness that's not overly palate destroying, which is nice. Smooth mouthfeel, a slight hint of oilyness but not cloying, finishes clean and bitter.
Fantastic brew, hope they do it again.

A - Opaque orange, small head, leaves to small clumps of bubbles. Not much lace.
S - Not hoppy. Maybe dishwater notes. Not bad but not appealing.
T - Standard hoppy offering. Not much malt, and not exceptional hops notes.
M - Medium body, good carb, good balance.
D - Average, but very drinkable.
