Light, clean, smooth tasting beer. Champagne like feel. This beer to me compliments meat and fish dishes well. I enjoyed drinking it straight out of the bottle ice cold. It’s a pretty decent American adjunct lager compared to other South American countries. I imagine in Ecuador they drink these outside far into the AM hours some nights, lol. Overall, I recommend you try this beer whenever you may be in a nice restaurant with Latin American cuisine.

A decent lager. Found all over the country. Nice gold clear color, decent white head. Taste is more malty and less adjunct junk than most Amer.Adjunct lagers. Mouthfeel rich enough for the style. The one to ask for in restaurants.

The best lager in the country, I don’t usually say this but, I would easily pay the double of its market value.
The taste is good, strong and goes down easy, not too much white head, perfect for a medium rare rib eye

Much better than Pilsener and one of the better macro lagers made in the tropics.

Poured from a green bottle into a wine glass. From notes. Reviewed August 2014.

Pale and clear and bubbly
Smells like Heineken. Skunky lager.
Soft, watery and vague. Vaguely European. Hint of odd herbalness (skunked hops, probably), but the heavy carbonation makes it taste strangely enchanting.
Not very good, but easy-drinking and refreshing.

Pale gold pour, white head; a little lacing; lite bready notes (smells like a Strohs!); little flavor here, mostly bubbles, metallic finish; crisp mouthfeel; overall enjoyable lite beer. Cheers Quito!
