On tap at the Rubicon
A - Copper with a 2 fingered white head, which dissipated moderately. Left some very beautiful lacing.
S/T - Some toffee, but mostly flowers and bittering hops.
M - Full bodied, hop dominated, and dry.
D - Not bad. This is a little too hop dominated and a little too dry for an Irish ale.

A - Poured an amber color with an off white head that leaves some lacing behind
S - Is of sweet caramel malt with some hops
T - Like the smell sweet caramel malt upfront a little roasty then a hop finish
M - This beer has a medium body with medium carbonation to it
D - Overall its average in just about every way and I do like reds but this one doesn't do much for me the half pint I got was enough

This is a pretty good American "red" ale, with some malty and hoppy character, plus a bitterness that is noticeable but restrained.
It is red with a foamy head shrinking to a foamy ring and leaving some nice rings of lace.
Aroma is citrus with specific grapefruit and a little orange, plus caramelly barley and a little hint of chocolate maltiness.
Taste is similar, rather juicy with grapefruit and orange plus a light yeastiness and balanced with lightly chocolatey-toasty maltiness. Leaning just to the bitter side, especially in the finish, it balances the light bitterness with just enough sweetness.
It is fairly balanced and quite drinkable with some good range of character, having noticeable malty and hoppy qualities.
