Brew is lively, but it's a tad too orange for my liking. Foam is also a bit low. Fresh smell of hops and malt. Taste also has the same fresh combination of these two flavours, but might be a bit too much on the sweet side. Medium-bodied and refreshing. It doesn't have much in terms of depth and complexity, but it's a decent beer to start the spring season with.

I'm living two years in the Netherlands now and I hadn't noticed the lente boks until now!
I got a bunch of different spring beers yesterday and I am starting with the Alfa Bok.
Bottle of 300 ml.
Light orange colour, two finger soapy head with very good retention and some lacing on the glass.
Fruity smell of apples and bubblegum, but very faint.
Taste is of malts, caramel. Slighty sweet with the alcohol fairly present.
Thin on the body, average carbonation.

A: Very uniform 1.5 finger head, transparent lipton tea gold, with light to moderate rising carbonation.
S: apple juice malt, concord grape, slightly sweet, multiple distinct apple flavors, also tea. Not so beer like but very nice.
T: despite the alcohol being fairly present for a 6.5, there's certainly an interesting concord grape element to it as well as apple juice. But it is indeed a beer. Slight, apple-y tartness as well. Great blend. Special flavor.
M: Subtle astringency, fairly light carbonation, light to medium body.
O: Nice, interesting and an original Maibock.

Look: The beer pours a clear yellow-orange color with a nice fluffy white head.
Smell: Yeast, fruits candy sugar and sweet malts.
Taste: Malts, sweet candy sugar, with some spicy hop in the dry aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: High carbonation, light bodied. Easy to drink
Overall: A bit too sweet for my liking, but not bad for the style

Deep orange to amber in color with a tight white head and good lacing.

A fresh hoppy nose with strong fruity notes underneath. Malt presence is sweet, thick and overshadowed somewhat by a sugar-like influence.

Big malt and caramel sweetness in the taste, accompanied by some delicate salty touches. Hops spice up the finish and guide the beer into its moderate sweet and somewhat coarse bitter aftertaste.

Mouthfeel is soft and round in character, with proper carbonation and a bit of stickiness. Alcohol is chestwarming.

It's a pleasure to drink this beer, although it hasn't found the appropriate balance between sweetness and hop vitality just yet.

BB feb-07( JO38899). Nice white head that's well lasting and a bronze/amber beercollor. Nose is very yeastfruity having a good fruitbubblegum arome with candysugar.. Taste is full and strong malty and not oversweetened though certainly to the sweet side. Nicely bittered and overall well balanced beer but maybe litle hanging bitterness and bit of metal. Enjoyable beer and IMO worth a try.
